A/N: I'm doing a different addition to these next chapters for story purposes. If you like this format, let me know, and I can implement it in more chapters.

This chapter will also not have a lot of dialogue. I feel like I'm better at writing chapters like this, personally. If you like these types of chapters, please let me know, and I can do them more often.

Start the music when you'd like. For the best effect, start later in the chapter.

Angst warning! This chapter gets pretty heavy. Reader discretion is advised.

Please enjoy.

Y/N POV

Ryan has escaped from jail. Not only that, but both he and his father have gone missing.

Ever since then, my life has turned into an episode of Pretty Little Liars. Death threats, anonymous texts, strange comments on everything I post, and other things too horrifying to mention.

Xavier and V haven't left my side, Sumo has been more on guard lately, and Dad, Virgil, Roman, Patton, and Logan have been taking turns staying up and making sure that I stay safe. I get constant texts from F/N, Jason, Austin, and Sean asking if I'm okay. They come over every day. They'll bring us things we need, run errands, hang out with me, and F/N and Jason will always call so V, Xavier and I can join in on the homeschool lessons every Friday. Since we've all been on edge, Austin and Sean will come by with take out, or they'll cook for us.

Logan has been very stressed out. He's been making irrational decisions, not thinking before he acts, and he doesn't read, study, or do puzzles anymore. He's not being himself. He's mumbling to himself constantly, his normally neat appearance is disheveled, and he has bags under his eyes.

Roman has been very aloof. He hasn't been creating anything, he hasn't said, or sung, a word for weeks, and he is probably more stressed than Virgil right now. He walks around with his sword constantly unsheathed, and jumps at every little thing, ready to strike. His eyes have been heavy for weeks, but he most likely hasn't slept.

Patton has been gloomy. He also hasn't said or done anything this week. He's barely been out of his room at all. When he is, he's usually standing guard outside my room, or he's checking on me throughout the day. He doesn't even wear his normal cat pyjamas, or any of his normal clothes. He just walks around like a zombie. He has bags under his eyes and looks drained.

I haven't seen Virgil at all this week. He follows me around the house, always making sure that I'm okay, but when I turn around, I don't see him. He just disappears. I hear strange noises coming from his room, like he's punching something, or causing himself pain. It's terrifying.

Dad is not doing well. He has stains down his face from constantly crying. The things that surprises me is the fact that he can still produce tears. He hasn't eaten, slept, or had anything to drink for a very long time. Since the facets of his personality aren't doing well, it's been taking a toll on him.

Deceit has not left the spot above where I sit on the window. Nobody has noticed since somebody would've said something, but I can't help but wonder what's going on with him, too.

All my friends try to joke around with me and make sure I'm still happy. They smile and laugh, but everything has been so empty. Their smiles don't reach the eyes, and their hollow laughs sound eerie to me.
