“Who did that to you?” The killjoy with bright red hair asked. I was about to tell him until Mr. Addam told me otherwise. “It’s none of your business. Why do you care anyway?” I tried to say it like Mr. Addam did, but my voice kept cracking.
“Because you are my friend I care about you.” “You’re lying. I don’t even know your name.” He had to be lying right? But if he was then why can’t I believe that he is? “That’s because they wiped your memory. Then they brainwashed you to believe what they tell you.” Brainwashed? What is he talking about? I wasn’t brainwashed and my memory couldn’t have been erased right? “How do you know “they” wiped my memory?” “Well you tell me. Can you remember anything from yesterday, or any day before that?”
No, I couldn’t. I didn’t even know there was a yesterday or any day before today. Maybe he wasn’t lying. What if he is right? What if my memory was erased? What if I was brain washed!?! I was going to ask him to explain but Mr. Addam would be angry. So I said what I was told. “I’m done taking to you for now.” Mr. Addam told me to leave and I did.
