Zach
Haha! You guys thought something bad was going to happen. No. I saw the rest of the boys and a girl with them. "Hey guys, we're here!" Jack shouts, jogging towards them. I groan. I didn't want them to be here. I don't like social settings, or a place where I have to be around many people. "Hey Zach." Daniel says as he turns towards me. I wave and sit at a separate table. Daniel gets up from his seat and sits across from me. "Want to go play some games?" He asks. I nod and get up to buy some tokens. Jack glances at us as we walk away. This boy has my feelings in a whirl but I have to keep them in check. No falling for a boy I barely know. Daniel guides me through the large arcade to the token dispenser. I put in a five dollar bill and the coins spill into a small cup he picked up that was next to machine. He smiled and ran off, making me follow him.

We played many games, pinball, claws, which I was great at, and many more. Daniel laughed and I smiled widely. Never have I ever felt this happy. At least, not in a long time. He was a great friend. "So I noticed that you looked a little mad that we were here." He says, his laughs slowly dies down into a smile. I shake my head no. I was mad before, but I am having so much fun with Daniel that I completely forgot about Jack. "Want to go back? We're almost out of tokens." He asks. I shake my head no, grabbing the tokens from him and run off. "Hey! Come back here!" He shouts, laughing. We use the rest of our tokens and start heading back to the others. I run off towards the boys and he chases me while laughing. I bump into that girl that was here. She was so basic. She has blue eyes, probably contacts and hair bleached more than Corbyn's. "Watch where your going weirdo." She scoffed and headed back over to Jack, faking a smile. Daniel grabs me and picks me up. "I got you!" He laughs. I smile while he puts me down. Jack looks at us with a raised eyebrow and I just shrug. "I'm going to get food from the food court, wanna come Zach?" Daniel asks. I nod and follow him, zigzagging through the arcade games.

"What do you want to eat?" He asks as we wait in line. I shrug and look at the menu. I point towards the salad and he nods. "I'm going to get a salad too. Did the boys say they want anything?" He ask as we move up the line. I shrug and feel a light tap on my shoulder. "You left us." He says , raising his eyebrow. I roll my eyes and turn away. He huffs and stands next to me. I move to the other side of Daniel, still slightly mad at him for inviting other people with out telling me. We make our way to the front of the line. "Hi! Can I have three salads, one coke, and two waters please." Daniel grins. The cashier nods. "Your total is $15.34. Daniel hands him a twenty and gets his change. "We'll call you up when your order is ready." He says. Daniel nods and turns to sit at a table. I follow behind him and Jack follows me. I sit next to Daniel, not wanting to sit next to Jack. "Are you guys mad at each other or something?" Daniel asks. "I'm not mad at him. But he seems annoyed." Jack responds, looking at me. I take my phone out and open notes.

Im not mad at anyone. Just at the fact Jack didn't tell me you guys were coming along. No I'm not jealous, I just would've liked a small warning before we got here. It's not a bad thing either. I'm having fun, but I seriously didn't want to have an anxiety attack.

I give the phone to Daniel for him to read. "I guess it makes sense." Daniel says, handing the phone to Jack. "Sorry." He apologizes after handing me my phone back.

It's ok.

I show him the phone once more before putting it away. "Order 58! Your food is ready!" Someone shouts. "That's ours. I'll get it." Daniel says, getting up from his seat. I nod while he walks away. "I'm sorry. I probably should've told you. I invited them last minute just so it wouldn't be awkward." He says. I take out my phone again and type out my response.

It's ok. Really. Just next time warn me. Also, who's that girl you invited?

He reads it and slightly frowns, but tries to fake smile. "That's my, well, girlfriend I guess." He responds.

Oh. She's pretty.

Gosh I just lied to him. She's no where near pretty and super fake. "Thanks I guess."

"I GOT FOOD PEOPLE!" Dani shouts, causing a small smile to appear on my face. Jack laughs and grabs the food from him. Dani hands me my salad and we chow down. "So. Any crushes on anyone?" Daniel asks, wiggling his eyebrows. I roll my eyes playfully and shake my head no. "I have a girlfriend but let me put it this way: I have the menu, I just can't order anything from it. Basically, I'm allowed to look, just can't stare or try to flirt or stuff like that." Jack responds. "So there is someone better than, what was her name again?" "Mia." (We bringing back the heart breaker.) "she's got a basic name." Daniel scoffs. I finish my salad and throw away the plastic bowl and fork. "Let's head back. They might think we died or something because we've been here for almost an hour and a phalf." Daniel laughs. I smile and get up from my chair.

A/N: just questioning how this book got over 100 reads on the first chapter in only like 6 chapters and my other book it took like fifteen. Lmaoooo. Love all the support. ❤️❤️
