Dear Yokai,

Today was a very embarrassing day of school, but something good happened, though.

Should I begin with the good or the bad? Okay, the good it is, then.

I made a new friend by the name of Felt/Malika... Which is it? Maybe Felt is her last name, I'm not sure. She's pretty nice, and she came to talk to me when I was sitting alone in the courtyard. Her company was nice even though she talks a lot.

She even calls me Yoo and Sa-kun. What does that even mean? She yelled to me in football tryouts. It was sort of embarrassing, you know?

Almost everything is awkward for me. Is that even normal? Maybe I'll die alone like what those persons always say in love movies and books, with their twelve cats and two dogs.

But I'll just get a puppy. Cats make me sneeze.

Well, onto the bad now.

Do you remember the three boys I saw last week? Yea, them. There's this big, scary one named Carlos García. He is very intimidating, and I think he's after me, for some reason!

In football tryouts, he knocked in my side! I thought I was gonna die!

But the good thing that happened from it was that I got a penalty kick. I scored, and my team was super happy!

Thank God, Carlos didn't come back for the rest of the day. I don't know what's going on with him, but I hope he doesn't start picking on me.

The second bad thing is that I've got a concussion. My head hurts so bad, I don't think I'll be able to make it to school tomorrow.

Oh yes, I got it when Xander kicked the ball in my face (by accident). I almost died on spot. The coach cursed him and told him to bring me to the nurse. He did, carrying me on his back. His hair smelled like some sort of shampoo, and his skin was so warm ... his eyes are very blue and pretty. His girlfriend must love him to death. He's amazing.

Oh! And he brought me home, too.

His car is really awesome and cool. It feels so refreshing in there!

Xander didn't talk to me much, but when he did, he has such a nice voice and accent. He's so mature. I don't really thinks he likes me, though.

Hey! Remember that dream I had? Now matching his voice to that dream I had, it's-

Never mind ... I don't want to think about it again.

If there's one thing I hated, it was that Xander called me a kid. Yea, I'm fifteen, but I just hate the word.

When he called me that, I felt kinda sad.

But he's two years older than me, so that would make him seventeen. That means that he's a kid too, right? You have to be eighteen plus to be an adult.

So he is a kid. 😜

Well, that's all for today. I really, really hope that the next time I see him, we'll talk!

Love,
S. Tremaine
