Days pass by, my life remains still
Even when the sun rays fall on me, I feel cold
I curl up to protect myself
I smile but only I know what the truth is
They don't notice me, they never do
This coldness is creeping into me
I don't notice the change and the chillness of the wind
Because I'm already frozen
The winds change
I keep waiting for someone to wrap a blanket around me
But it never happens
I stare into the night... I notice that my mind feels as dark as the night
By the time someone notices me, I'll be in too deep....to be pulled out.... As they say there is no use of wrapping a blanket around a lifeless body...
