Time doesn't wait for you
To wake up
It doesn't care
That your running out of breath
Trying to catch up with it
I run
But it seems to be moving faster
So I try running faster
Feeling breathless
I stop
Mocking me
Laughing at me , it moves on
I try running again
But it seems useless
Left behind
I look around
And I see many people
All of em busy running
To even notice me collapsing
Falling down
Feeling my lungs burning
I give up
It hurts so much
That I scream
Days pass by
The winds change
And I remain there
Struggling to breath
Sometime along the way
Someone passed me an oxygen mask
But I know
That it can only last for so long
The oxygen tank is too small
Instead of trying to breathe by myself
I start searching
For a bigger tank
Not being able to find it
I start panicking
Searching for it desperately
I even try asking for help
They say
That they can't help me
I try begging
But they all turn away
Not able to find it
I give up
It only seemed right to do so
So I close my eyes
Slipping into a dream
Where the time
Has stopped running
I find peace
But it's only a dream
And you must know
That even without you
Time will move on
Time changes
Another day passes by...
For the world to see
The dawn break out yet again...
