Words are comforting
But they don't change a thing

Until I feel like I can't take in anymore
My lungs hurt
I'm running out of breath
I struggle to breath again
But nothing changes
My breathing is ragged
But I pretend to be breathing normally
And no one notices
Let me breathe on my own
I don't need any help
Let me take a deep breath
I'll breathe on my own
Let me breathe on my own
But hold me when I do it
So I try to take a deep breath once again
Trying to calm myself
I take a deep breath once again
Till I lose my supply
Will you hold me?
Please.... As I try to breathe again....
