"Word" is just a small word
But it's powerful
One word can destroy everything
Three words can give someone strength
But at the same time
They can also destroy others
It all depends on what the words are
Think before you say it
Thinking after you say it, is useless
It will only leave you with regrets
Why say "I hate you"?
When you can say "I love you"
Mind your words
You can't take them back
Asking for forgiveness
After the harm is done
Won't erase the words
That you have said
They inflect
Deep scars
And unlike the superficial ones
They can't be treated
So now
Plugging in the music
I try to forget
But it's useless
Why say " You're ugly"?
When you can say "You're beautiful"
Words make all the difference
In this small world
Listening to the sounds
Of the ocean
Gives me a sense of tranquility
But my heart
Will continue to carry
All the burden with it
Why you ask?
Because it's still a part of me
It is still a part of my life
And will continue to do so...
