So purple
That they almost appear black
Only did i know
They were a funeral offering
The golden pavilion
So majestic
A symbol of love
Only did i know
There lies a person buried beneath
The pleasant breeze
So refreshing
Carries a sweet scent
Only did i know
The smell was of poisonous orchids
The blue waters
So tranquil
Waves so calm
Only did i know
They carry the ashes of the dead
The black dress
So admirable
The woman wore a pretty smile
Only did i know
She was in mourning
The fiery flames
So warm
That I try to get rid of the chills
Only did i know
Someone was being cremated
The veiled statue
So delicate
Wondering what her face looked like
Only did i know
She was crying behind it
The smile
So motherly
That it calms my angst
Only did i know
She lost her daughter recently
The vineyard
So sweet smelling
That it leaves me mesmerized
Only did i know
It was a graveyard before
My life
So beautiful
That others feel jealous
Only this I knew
Wasn't the truth ......
