Not having many good memories
I desperately try to hold on
To the ones that I have
But they are getting buried
Under the nightmares
I try to pull myself together
Trying to hold on
But they are slipping away
My fears coming true
I desperately search for the good ones
Only to come up empty
I finally lose it
I scream
Wanting them back
Getting no response
I collapse
Holding onto something
Is not easy
But at least I can say
That I tried
Now I ask you
I beg you
To not become like me
I wish you a better fate
Hold on
Don't let them fade away
You'll regret it later on
Please
