Tossing and turning
Seeking comfort in the blankets
But only to kick them away
Trying to see the light
Only to switch it back off
Hugging myself
Trying to comfort myself
Nothing works
I tell myself
There's nothing I can do anymore
I thought I can endure it till the end
But guess not
The sun rises
But my mind remains blank
It feels as dark as the night
Another day passes by
The world moves on
And I try to seek comfort again
But only to toss and turn
How long can a person endure it
I ask myself
Torturing myself for an answer
Please answer it for me
How can you do it?
How long can you endure?
Will it get better if I try to endure it?
