Chapter 13~

Walking down the road I was insanely nervous I had no idea how to be with this guy BamBam freaked me out with all that advice! Ah he's such a jerk when I get back I'm defiantly punching him! "So where are you originally from?" I looked towards Vernon and smiled "I'm from Busan, my brother and I moved here around a year and a half ago. What about you?" He smiled and I noticed he stepped a little closer "I'm originally from New York but I moved here when I was young, my moms actually American while my dad is Korean." I nodded and I looked at his features he does look mixed wow that's pretty cool he's really handsome "Do you ever wish you didn't move?" He shrugged his shoulders "No not really, its was fun and I got a lot of attention since the kids thought I was super cool for being from New York!" I laughed a bit and looked back to see Yugyeom and the other two following me and BamBam suddenly got really close to Yugyeom and then pointed towards Vernon and I, turning red I looked back to the front just pretend its Yugyeom.. Ah who am I kidding Yugyeom is a lot more good looking then Vernon

"We're here." I looked up to see it was a rather nice place, walking inside a waitress lead us to a table by the window "Wow this is nice.." Sitting down I jumped a bit when my chair scooted in on its own but that's when I realized Vernon was behind me and I smiled a bit shy "O-Oh thank you" Yugyeom has done that a couple of times but its usually just to prank me, he smiled and walked over to sit across from me messing with my cup I was to nervous to look him in the eyes "So Koda why'd you decide to join the dance competition?" I looked towards him and rubbed my neck "Um its quite a long story I wouldn't want to take up the conversation and leave you with no room to talk.." He laughed a bit and leaned in this is really weird why do I feel so stiff? "No its fine I'm interested in you, my mind is swirling with questions if that's alright." I looked away from him and covered my face a bit "N-No its fine.." I glanced towards him to see he was still smiling and then it hit me "Oh! That's it you look like that guy from Titanic, when I was younger my mom watched that movie all the time I actually had a small crush on that guy. My dad then went on to tell me that he wasn't Korean so I wouldn't have a chance since I don't speak English. I was so heart broken I actually self taught myself English!" We laughed a bit and he shook his head "That's to cute, well I'm glade you at least think my looks are good!" I drank some of my water and nodded a bit "Hmm I guess you lucked out."

I felt a bit more comfortable after laughing it didn't feel so stiff "Why were you at the dance hall though?" He raised his eyebrow a bit "Oh my friends and I are competing as well, you nervous?" I grinned and shook my head "We'll defiantly beat you! Yugyeom is an amazing dancer." He laughed and rested his head on his arm "Oh really? Should we make a bet then?" I nodded as my competitive side came out "If I win the competition you have to run up on stage and give me a hug." I laughed a bit and covered my mouth, that reminds me of something Jimin would say "What a silly request, alright fine if I win~ You have to get me a sweatshirt." He nodded and we pinky promised "Its a deal." Our food arrived and our conversation stopped for a while, why is food so good? Oh I hope Yugyeom and them are eating as well.. Yugyeom gets a bit cranky when he doesn't eat.

"Koda here." I looked up to see he was handing me a piece of meat 'WRONG! You never look disgusted at someone offering you food okay?' brushing my hair back I leaned in and ate it my eyes widened "That's really good! Wow I can't believe how well seasoned it is." He nodded in agreement and I looked down towards my plate would it be wrong if I didn't offer him some food? I looked up to see him eating again and I looked back down at my plate "Vernon here try this." He looked up surprised and I handed him some of my pasta I noticed his cheeks became a bit red causing me to smile "Its good, you have really good taste Koda." I sat back satisfied with my action and I enjoyed the nice meal.

Once we were done we went walking down the street and I looked up at the sky the sun was setting "Do you want to see a movie?" He grabbed my hand and swung it around a bit which caught me by surprise and I turned bright red "Koda?" I looked over to see a few girls "We're your underclassmen, are you with your boyfriend?" I became flustered causing me to step away from Vernon "N-No we're just going out.. Ah you're making me a bit embarrassed.." I covered my face and they giggled a bit so I stepped behind Vernon "Oh Koda we wanted to ask you if you'll be doing the presentation for the second years? Usually the top student does it but rumors have been spreading that its actually the third top student." I nodded and rubbed my neck "Tate and I both declined since we're not really interested in doing extra work. Junior will be helping the third student." They giggled and looked towards Vernon "Please take care of our upperclassmen." They bowed and left and I sighed why are girls like that? "Sorry, usually when students see me outside of school they come ask me about homework or something.." Its mostly bullies or people involved with Lee that are threatening me I lucked out those girls were underclassmen "No its fine, I never expected you to be that shy.. Honestly I'm not to brave myself I'm rather shy when it comes to girls but with you I don't want to miss the opportunity to impress you.." I turned red and quickly avoided his eyes my stomach twisted what's with this guy?
