As Sweetpea drives to the Whyte Wyrm I look over to see Toni smirking at me for the back of Fangs bike.
"Hey Sweetpea?"
"Yeah?"
"Why did you push me behind you when Reggie came up to us?"
"Because I did." He says Ashe park his bike as Jug comes up to me and helps me off.
"You ok?"
"The hand marks are starting to bruise Jug." Toni says as she gets off Fangs bike and walks inside the Whyte Wyrm.
"Just stick close to me Princess and no one will say anything to ya." Sweetpea says as he wraps his arm around my shoulder and leads me and Jug inside. As soon as we get inside a bunch of serpent turn and stare at us.
Come down guys their FP's kids. Fangs says as a guy walks up to us
"Mariah and Jughead Jones. We've heard a lot about the two of you. I'm tall boy."
"Nice to meet you." I say with a small smile
"Sweetpea, FP wouldn't want his daughter here." Tall boy
"I know but, we had to bring her here."
"Why does she have bruises on her neck?" Tall boy asks as he lifts my chin.
"My ex."
"He hurt you?" Tall boy asks as more serpent come towards us
"Yes." I say as I look down
"She wasn't safe at her school so we brought her here. Where here ex wouldn't dare to hurt her." Toni says
"Ok. Toni help her get cleaned up. We'll take care of the boys. Jughead."
"Just call me Jug." Jug says
"Ok. Jug call your dad so he knows what's going on. Toni take her to the back I clean her up as best as you can. Make sure she's comfortable" Another serpent says
"Ok." Jug says as he calls dad and Toni takes me to the back to clean me up
"Toni you guys didn't have to get involved when Reggie..."
"Mariah your dad is a serpent. That makes you and your brother serpents and we serpents Have each other's back no matter what. Ok?"
"Ok." I say as she puts an ice pack on my neck.
"Ow!" I say
"Sorry. I just don't want it to get worse." She say
"It's ok. Hey Toni?"
"Yeah."
"Why did you smirk at me when I was riding at the back of Sweetpea's bike?"
"Because he likes you M."
"T, he's doesn't like me."
"M, why do you think he pushed you behind him? He likes you."
"Yeah right." I say as I jump up on the table and sits still.
"Fine don't believe me but, it's true." She says as I hear my dad call my name
"Mariah!!"
"Dad?" I ask as I hop off the table and walk towards his voice
"Dad?" I ask as my dad comes running up to me
"Mariah. Pumpkin what happened?"
"Reggie he choked her during music." Jug saids
"What?!?"
"Dad calm down." I say as Sweetpea pulls me back to make sure nothing bad happens to me.
"FP she has bruises all over her neck." Fangs says
"I'm going to the police. Jug take your sister home." Dad says as he walks out
"Dad, I have cheer. The tryout are today if I don't go I'll get kicked off the team." I say
"I'll take here dad." Jug says
"I don't want you going alone."
"Fangs and I will go to make sure Reggie doesn't come near here." Sweetpea says
"I'll text Archie to send you the video her took during music." Jug says
"Ok." Dad says as he leaves.
"Hey Toni can I get your number just in case they need backup."
"Sure. Put yours in my phone as well." She says as we switch phones
"Oh before you go. Take this scarf to cover up." Toni says as I put it around my neck
"Thanks." I say
"No problem. Remember what I said. Your a serpent as well. We have you back. Toni says as Jug leads me outside.
"Princess, you ride with me." Sweetpea says as I put on my helmet and hop on his bike as we leave the Whyte Wyrm.
