As soon as I open the door I see sheriff Keller.
"Hi sheriff Keller. What are you doing here at this hour?"
"I'm looking for a young serpent boy that has long dark brown hair,tanned skin and a serpent tattoo ok his neck."
"May I ask why you are looking for this boy?"
"He jumped a student from Northside high." The sheriff says
"I'm sorry Keller but, no one comes to mind with that description. How bout you king?" Toni says
"No one that I can think off." Dad says
"May I ask who got jumped?" I ask hoping to god it's another serpent with long dark brown hair,tanned skin and a serpent tattoo ok his neck."
"Your ex boyfriend Mariah, Reggie Mantle."
"Oh... how do you know it was a Serpent?" Jug ask
"Reggie could have lied sheriff Keller." I say
"Not about this. He has too many bruises."
"Maybe it was the Gollies, mimicking a serpent Keller." Dad says
"Reggie told me it was a serpent."
"Reggie lied about him hurting me he could lie about this too."
"Maybe. Have you seen anything lately Mariah?"
"No Sheriff Keller." I say
"How bout you Jug?"
"No sir."
"Ok. If you see anyone that matches his description let me know."
"Ok. Goodnight sheriff." I say as he leaves as I close the door as I look over to see Keller standing by the window
"We gotta Tell Sweets to lay low for a while." Toni whispers
"Of course we do...after I sack Reggie." I whisper back
"Mari, no." Jug whispers
"Dad I need female products." I say
"What?" Dad asks
"I need female products" I say as Jug shifts his eyes to the window as Dad looks over and sees sheriff Keller
"Ok I'll go get them."
"I'll come with you"
"No Pumpkin it's to late"
"Dad I'm going with you you will get the wrong type of female products" I say as I shift my eyes to the window where sheriff Keller was hiding
"Ok. Jug, You and Toni stay here. Come on Mariah. Let's go get you female products." Dad says as I put in my jackets and walk to the truck....
