(Still FP's POV)
During our game we look up to see Mariah come out of her room with Toni behind her and head half shave.
"T, I love it." She says happily as she hug Toni
"Jug what do you think?" Toni asks
"I'm oddly ok with it." Jug says
"I'm not. Mariah Jones, come here now."
"Yes" She says as she walk up to me
"why would you shave half your head without telling me."
" because I knew you would say no. Plus my hair will grow back."
"I think it looks great M." Jug says
"Thanks Juggy."
"Your not doing this because of Betty. Right Pumpkin?"
"I did it because I want to change my style up a bit Dad."
"You should have told me." I say.
"I'm sorry dad."
"It's ok. Do you and Toni want to join our game?" I ask
"We're playing slap Jack." Jug says
"I love that game."
"That's because you always win." Jug says
"Not my fault your have slow reflexes."
"So you in?" I ask
"I'm game if you are M."
"Sure. Let's play." She say as they take a seat at the table
(Back to Mariah's POV)
As we play the game I see Jug put down a Jack as my hand went down.
"Ha I win Jug you have to do dishes for the next week."
"Fine."
"Hey T What's Southside like?" I ask
"You stay to your own groups and don't mix but, sweets will make sure you know the in and outs of Southside."
"Ok."
"Will our classes be the same"
"For you no." Dad says
"Am I out of math?" I ask happily
"No, your out of music...."
"What???"
"Southside doesn't have a music program. Low budget." Toni says
"That sucks"
"Yeah it is."
"But your taking auto instead." Dad says
"Awesome!" I say
"Wait you can work on cars?"
"Yeah I've been working on cars since I was a kid."
"Fangs in that class. You might have a class with him"
"T, that would make my day. Fangs is awesome." I say as someone knocks on the door....
