"Hey Toni." I say
"Hey is everything alright?" She asks
"Yeah. Everything's great. I'm transferring to Southside high as of Tuesday." I say with a smirk smile.
"Wow. What brought on that?" Toni asks
"Reggie and the fact I'm not a northsider."
"We could hang out during lunch."
"We could. If you'll excuse me I have a game of pool to finish." I say as I walk back to the pool table and continue my game.
"Hey Mariah? What do you look for in a guy?" Fangs asks
"Fangs I'm flattered....."
"Not for me."
"Than who?"
"Let's just say a friend."
"I look for someone who's loyal, kind, he has to be strong enough to deal with my family and it wonderful craziness, he has to understand me and be honest with me no matter what and he has to try to get along with Jug and Arch."
"Why Andrews?" Sweetpea asks
Because he is like a brother to me"
"Oh Toni. Want to have a girls night this weekend?"
"Sure. We could get to know each other better."
"Yeah. Dad will that be ok?"
"Yeah and principal Weatherbee said you and Jug could transfer. He will send your transfer scrips this weekend. So we will have them Monday." Dad says
"Hey King. Do you want Fangs and I looking out for her?" Sweetpea asks
"Yeah. I would. Make sure no one hurt her." Dad says
"We will King?" Sweetpea says
"We should get going Jug. If we want to talk to Archie. Toni you come?"
"Yeah. Can we stop by place?"
"Sure. Let's go." I say as we leave and drive to Toni's. Once we arrive at Toni's Sweet's turn to me.
"So your moving to Southside"
"Yeah I am."
"Really are you sure you want to. What about your friends"
"I don't have friends I got family."
"You really are a serpent."
"Dame right I am." I say as Toni comes outs.
"Hey, we need to stop at Archie's to talk"
"Ok. Let's head there." Jug says as we drive to Archie. As soon as we arrive I hop Sweetpea bike and see Fred outside.
"Hi Mariah, what are you doing here?"
"I need to talk to Archie may I go inside?" I asks as Fred looks over at Sweetpea, Toni and Fangs
"Of course, you don't need to ask. Your dad knows your here right?"
"Of course."
"Ok. Just checking. he's in his room." Fred says
"Thanks!" I say as Jug and I walk up to Archie's room and knock on the door...
