As we pull up to the school, Veronica,Betty and Archie are waiting for us.
"Hey guys." I say as I hop off Sweetpea's bike and hand the helmet to Jug
"Hey... you ok?" Veronica asks as I take of the scarf to show her the bruises
" are you sure this is a good idea if Reggie sees you he could do something to hurt you." Betty says
"He won't. Not with us here." Fangs says.
"Arch did..."
"I sent it as soon as I got the text."
"Thank you. I better get changed. Meet you boys in the gym in two minutes." I say as Betty, Veronica and I run into the school and into the change rooms and put on my uniform. As soon as I finish I cover my neck back up and head out
"Mariah, your early then I thought you would be. What's with the scarf?" Cheryl asks
"Yeah, I just feel a bit of a chill and I don't want to get sick. what do you need me to do?"
"Being part of my inner circle I need you to demonstrate the routine."
"Ok." I say as the girls stretch. After about a minute I see Jug, Sweetpea and Fangs come into the gym.
"Ok girls, my name is Mariah and I will be demonstrate the routine you'll be doing" I say as I stand from my seat as Cheryl starts the music

As soon as I finish I look up to see Jug,Fangs and Archie smiling at me while Sweetpea just stares in awe.
"Ok guys now it'd you turn. We'll be calling up name individuals. I say as I take my seat as the tryouts go on. After about half an hour Cheryl calls a break and go up to Jug.
"Hey,what do you think of the girls?" I ask
"I think their good" Jug says as I take a sip of my water.
"They all have the potential and positivity." I say with a smile
"Hey princess, I got a question for ya?"
"My name is Mariah. And what is your question?"
"If you a cheerleader and go to Northside High why don't you hate us?" Sweetpea asks
"Because I was born and live on the Southside and I my dad was a serpent. I believe that the serpents are good people with great morals that get in trouble for others stupidity." I say as I put my water bottle down and go back to Cheryl but before I do I hear someone call my name....
