As we drive to Sweetpea I see sheriff Keller following us.
"Dad stop at the drug store to get him off our tail." I say as he does exactly as I say. As soon as we park the car we head in and grab some stuff.
"Dad we need toothpaste." I say as I put it in the basket I picked up on my way in.
"Do you actually need female products?"
"Yes." I say as I walk down the aisle and grab the pads I need before finding my dad. Once I find him he turns to me.
"While we here, let's see if you puffer came in." He say as we walk to the pharmacy
"Hello Mr. Jones." The pharmacist says
"Hi, did Mariah's Puffers come in yet?"
"Yes they did. Let me grab them for you." She says as she leaves
"Pumpkin, are you ok?" Dad asks
"Yeah, I'm just trying to think if we need anything else. Oh.... we need um.... Advil. I'll go grab it." I say as I walk down the aisle and grab a bottle of Advil before walking back to my dad
"Got it." I say as we walk to the front and pay for our thinks."
"Hey FP, Mariah." Sue say
"Hey Sue" I say as dad pays for what we got
"How's Jug?"
"He's Good Sue." Dad says as we grab the bags.
"How's Reggie Mariah?"
"I don't know?"
"How don't know. I broke up with him."
"Why hun?"
"Let's just say that I had my reasons." I say as we leave. As soon as we walk out we see Sheriff Keller standing by our car.
"Is everything ok Sheriff?" I ask
"Just wondering why you went out right after I left?"
"We had to pick up a few things." Dad says as I put the bags in the back seat of the truck.
"Are you sure about that Jones?"
"Yeah... would you like to see the recite?" Dad asks as he hands it to him.
"Ok. Good night FP." Keller says before hoping into his car and drive away.
"Ready to go?" Dad asks as he walks to the drivers side.
"Yeah. Let's go." I say s I hop onto the truck and buckle up before we drive to Sweetpea's. As we drive I look out the rear view mirror to make sure no one is following us.
"We're good Dad"
"Good." he says as we drive up to Sweetpea's trailer and knock on the door. As soon as we do Fangs opens the door.
"Hey Mariah. Hey King, Igor are you doing here."
"May we come in?"
"Sure." Fangs says as we walk inside
"What's going on?" Fangs asks
"Where Sweets?" I ask
"He's..."
"I'm right here Princess."
"You need to lay low." I say
"Why?"
"Reggie told Keller you jumped him so you need to lay low."
"No"
"Why?"
