Like Mother Like Daughter 10

Tris Pov:

I wake up to an empty bed. I realize Tobias must have gone to get breakfast. I look at the clock and freak out. IT'S NOON!! I slept in too late. I rush downstairs and see everyone eating breakfast acting like everything's fine.  When it's not!! My hair starts to get on fire. This happens everytime I'm upset. 

" Woah, Tris calm down. Everythings alright" Zeke says with wide eyes 

" ALRIGHT, YOU THINK EVERYTHINGS ALRIGHT!! I OVERSLEPT AND NO ONE BOTHERED TO WAKE ME UP!! I HAVE THINGS TO DO AROUND HERE! I CAN'T SLEEP IN!! WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED YOU GUYS WOULDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!" I yell at the top of my lungs. 

They all sit in silence. Four comes and rubs my shoulders but I brush them off. I need to blow some steam. I run to the basement. I hear them call my name but I keep running. I see the punching bag and start punching really hard. I do a bunch of tricks on the dummy. I try and do the trick my mom taught me. She said that you have to concentrate hard. I kick the dummies head doing a backflip and kick his stomach landing on my feet. 

" Wow, Tris I didn't know you could to the divergent trick!" Christina says. Everyone looks at me wide eyes 

" The only one who can do that is Natalie Pedrad," Will says putting the pieces to together

"Wait so you're saying that Tris's mom is the legendary Natalie Pedrad?" Marlene says with a shocked face.

" Is that true?" Shauna asks. My brothers and I nod. 

" I'm sorry I yelled at you guys. I just don't want anything to go wrong. I want to keep us safe," I say and start to cry 

Four comes and embraces me in a hug. I wrap my arms around his neck. 

"It's okay Tris. We understand. You got to trust that we can help too. You don't have to fight through this on your own," Four says kissing my cheek 

" Ya Tris you could teach us how to do some of your work and we can take shifts," Lynn says with a small smile

" I could help with the technology. With my hacking ability," Will say with a grin

" Marlene, Shauna, Lynn, and I can help with reports. We all have A's in business and English classes. " Christina says with a smirk 

" I can train all of these guys. To help us be stronger when the time comes to fight," Four says looking at me. 

" Thanks, guys. That means a lot," I say hugging all of them. 

"Let's get ready for the day!" Shauna says and we all head to our rooms 

I get to my room and go to my closet to find something to wear. I decided to put on black ripped skinny jeans. With a black top and a black jacket to go over it. I see Tobias wearing black jeans and black t-shirt also wearing a black jacket. I go and put my hair in a high ponytail. I put on black eyeliner, mascara, a little bit of blush, grey eyeshadow, and some colored chapstick.  I walk into my room and see Tobias on his phone. 

" Hey," I say sitting next to him 

" Hi, beautiful," he says giving me a kiss on my forehead

" I'm sorry for lashing out at you," I say feeling guilty 

"It's okay. Now I know when your mad because your hair was really firery," He says with a laugh 

" Yup, now you know. I don't know why it does that. My parent and I did research on it but no results came." I say with a shrug 

"Well, I like it. It makes you look hotter," he says with a smile 

" Yup that's what I'm trying to do. Definitely not getting mad at anything. Just want to look hot," I say sarcastically and laugh. He laughs at me. 

" We should go downstairs or the gang will come suspicious," I say getting up but he pulls me back 

" What? Doing this," He says and fits his mouth to mine. I kiss back and he deepens it. His hands trail along my back fitting around my waist. I pull back wanting to continue. 

"We can do this later. I don't want to answer a million questions from the girls," I say with a smile

" Fine," he says getting up but kisses me again. I get lost and find it hard pulling back. Then I here footsteps and pull back. There is a knock. 

" Everyones wondering what is taking so long," Lynn says with her arms folded 

" I told you Four," I say glaring at him. He has a guilty smile

" Don't worry. I'll say you guys lingered in the basement for a while," Lynn says with a smile 

" Thanks, Lynn," I say and drag Four out of the room

We get downstairs and find everyone eating and sitting on the couch watching a show. I sit next to Tobias and cuddle up to his chest. He puts his arm around my waist and kisses my forehead. Just when I think everything's perfect my watch beeps red. Everyone looks at each other worried. 

" Lynn teleport Uriah and Zeke to the control room. Uriah and give me updates on whats happening. The rest of you follow me!!" I say and they all follow. I see Lynn, Uriah, and Zeke disappear

" Sage, who is it?" I say into the watch 

" Its Peter and Eric. They're at the front door and heading inside." Sage says in a montone voice 

" Come on," I lead them to the front room 

" We can take them, guys!" I whisper to them they all nod

I see them and they start running towards us. I grab Peter by the collar and Marlene freezes him. I quickly take my scanning device to see his powers. Peter has ice, telekinesis, and super speed. I go to Eric where Shauna is surrounding him in vines. I scan Eric. He has fire, invisibility, and healing powers. 

" Take them to the prison cells. Make sure you turn on the green light. Four, Marlene,  take Peter. Christina, Shauna, and Will take Eric. Key's are on the table," I say heading to the control room 

" Got it," Christina says and stretches across the room to get the keys 

I haven't heard anything form Uriah which makes me worry.

Tris: URIAH URIAH WHATS HAPPENING!!

No response. I super speed my way to the control room. I get to the room and see Uriah, Zeke, and Lynn fighting people. I quickly join. I punch a guy and throw lightning at him and he falls to the ground. One guy comes around me and quickly pins me to the ground. He has a super strength. I struggle through his grasp. I start to lose her air in my lungs and pass out.
