Jungle Kid

Chapter 3

It has been a while since we have talked. A lot of happened including Alexander passing away because of Shere Khan. Lala has been messing with me and doing the exact same thing ever since I came. We all have grown a bunch, including Akru and Sura. I have been trying to be part of the hunting group mostly helping the wolves not get charged at by throwing a boomerang at the bulls horns. I was at the marsh with a lot of animals over there after a lesson from Baloo about the password of the jungle

Andrew: Here's a good spot

I got to lay down on a smooth rock and all of a sudden the animals ran away from the lake and I heard the bushes shake.

Andrew: Come on out

A wolf jumped at me then another one jumped at me. A total of about fifteen wolves surrounded me. All of them growled at me thinking I was their enemy. 

Andrew: Trust me stay back you don't want to fight me

?: He knows our language

Andrew: Stay back I am warning you

Bagheera came out of the blue and tried to save me even though I didn't need saving

Andrew: Bagheera I don't need help

Bagheera: Nonsense 

A brown wolf appeared out of the woods. It was Vermilion, one of the great wolves of Alexander's era

Bagheera: Vermilion no one told me about my return

Vermilion: I see you are still playing the pussy cat game

Bagheera: What did you say

They were about to brawl. I had to do something and that one thing was.....

Andrew: Hail wolves may be at one blood ye and I

All the wolves hailed back held their fire

Vermilion: Sandah he knows our secret password did you teach him that Bagheera

Bagheera: No I didn't but he is a pack member 

Vermilion: Really is Alexander still around

Bagheera: I'm afraid not

Vermilion: Well well well

There was eventually an assembly call and we all headed up to Council Rock where both wolf packs were. 

?:Whoa it's Vermilion

?:No way can it be

Vermilion headed up with Akela. I didn't pay attention to the fact that he is going to be leader. I didn't pay attention until Sandah spoke up. 

Sandah: What about the boy

All: Huh

Sandah: Humans have always killed peace-loving wolves like us. Did you forget how humans treated us. They did it to my sister.

Andrew: Yes I know what they can do but I have never used a gun nor I have used any weapon of any type by a human.

Luri: He is right he was raised by humans but have never tried to kill anything besides that dreadful Shere Khan

Sandah: He's human nothing counts.....Vermilion you can stay with your old friends but us and the rest of the pack are moving on

They started running away from Council Rock then Vermilion then Lala followed. 

Lala: Father please don't leave you just came please father I am begging you please father please

I felt the pain of Lala and then I started running and didn't look back. I ran to the lake and I climbed a tree as Akru and Sura

Andrew: It is true that a human doesn't belong in a wolf pack but I am part wolf and Sandah has to know that if it is the last thing I do
