Jungle Kid

Chapter 5

The very next morning I woke up in a daze like I couldn't wake up or something. I woke up next to a tree as a wolf obviously. I finally got up and started walking getting my legs loose. I went down to the river to get a drink of water and saw some rabbits in the distance.

Andrew:Now I got ya

The rabbit stayed there for about two minutes and I had my chance to get my breakfast. I stayed in place till it was just nearly 3 feet ahead of me. I quickly snatched it and killed the little rabbit. I got my breakfast and then continued on walking. I walked south knowing there is river near so I can get some water. I got to the river and I had a weird scent that is very nearby. It looked red with a tan-ish underbelly. 

Andrew: Oh no dholes. 

I tried but there is nowhere to hide the dholes were....well looking like they were following me. I headed back to the river and quickly followed it upstream. 

(Back at home)

Akru: So what now mom

Sura: Yeah what now

Luri: I think it is time to find his scent and see where he went. 

Akru: We will start at his den that is where he was last. 

They went to my den to start looking for a scent. They finally found a scent nearly 5 seconds later. They quickly reported it to Luri

Akru: He headed south toward where the dholes live

Luri: Uh oh there could be trouble

A dhole came with two others in front of Akru, Sura and Luri

Luri: What do you want get out of here

?: What do we want one of your wolves was on our territory and then he headed upstream after he crossed the river

All: Andrew

?: Huh

Luri: Please forgive him he ran away and he has only been part of the pack for three weeks he does not know of your territory. 

?: Yes Luri we will right Yoku

Yoku: Yes fine

They left without further notice.

(Back to me)

I continued heading upstream and stopped near the hills. I slept overnight and when I woke up it was pouring rain and the river was rising. I had to get away from the river as fast as possible. If I don't I could drown. I went back up North as fast as possible but it was nearly all flat so the water was coming fast. I saw someone up in the distance and he directed his head to make me follow it. It directed me up a hill and it was a lovely wolf. 

Andrew: Thanks I would've a goner

?: You are welcome we wolves have to stick together....where did you come from

Andrew: The Seonee I ran away

?: Why did you run away

Andrew: I ran away because one of heroes came back after a long time he went away too and when he went away again everyone thought I was the reason why he left

?: Why was that

Andrew: You may not like it....human

I changed back to a human

?: Huh you are really human how long have you been like this

Andrew: 2 weeks I have been part of the Seonee Wolf Pack for three weeks

?: You better change back

Andrew: Why

She seen something coming

?: Change back do it

Andrew: Okay...wolf

I changed back to a wolf just in time to see another wolf come in. I got lucky that time.
