Chapter 8

It has been nearly a week since I have came back from the pack and things have been different. I met a new friend, a red panda named Kichi. A trouble maker but a very gentle red panda.

What I heard they are very rare so one day it was getting close to mating season, it was just around the corner and I had to find a mate right away. In wolf years, I am in wolf years 27 years (not actually just go with it) so I have to find a mate fast like I said.

I have been going as a wolf ever since I got back. Akru has been with Dargey's girl, Maki and Sura is still kind' enough still looking.

One day me, Akru, Maki were hanging out near the lake and they were talking about the upcoming mating season for Sura while I was thinking about Rahhar

Akru:Sura what about you know Lala

Sura:I don't know she doesn't like me too much

Akru: She's changed Sura...what do you think Andrew

Andrew: I don't know Akru

I started walking away from the wolves

Akru: What's wrong Andrew please tell me

Andrew: I don't know I was thinking about something that I don't want to talk about

Akru: Alright but if you want us let us know

I left heading to my den. I went thinking about the human, but then I heard about an assembly call. I headed up to Council Rock where all the wolves are.

Akela: Wolves we have bad news the outsider Grizzle, is coming back to our jungle. For you younger ones, Grizzle in a menacing wolf who was kicked out of the pick awhile ago. 

?: Let's send him back where he came from

?: Let's start a patrol

Akela: A patrol eh, we need some volunteers

Me, Akru and Sura volunteered as well as some other wolves. Later in the day, Sura looked more happy than usual but he didn't want to talk about it. At sunset, me, Bagheera, Baloo, Kaa and Luri met near the buffalo plains. 

Andrew: Wow time is flying

Kaa: You better get going it is almost dark

Baloo: If he can stay awake

Kaa: But I am worried about the wolves

Bagheera: Why Grizzle will be totally outnumbered

Kaa: Yeah but he is a cunning wolf

Luri: You are right I am worried too

Baloo: Well they will give a signal if they see Grizzle don't worry they also have Andrew and he is one tough human

When I got there it was dark, it was me, Akru and a few other wolves, eventually Maki came and then everyone was here. 

Akru: Well we better keep a lookout

Andrew: I will try to stay up as long as possible as us humans can probably stay up more longer than you wolves. 

Akru: Yeah probably

 Maki: This is kind've fun

Andrew: Yeah

?: How is Sura doing

The wolves eventually fell asleep then I thought I seen something in the distance. I did and it was Grizzle and his gang. I woke up all the wolves which struggled to get up due it was around three in the morning. 

Grizzle: Well well well what do we have

?: Yeah we can take em boss

Grizzle: Now now now we don't want any trouble now what are you wolves doing with a human he isn't a wolf and what is a she wolf doing here

Akru: That is Andrew and he is a wolf to us and don't talk anything about Maki

Andrew: Keep a cool head don't even start Grizzle trust me you don't want to see my bad side

Grizzle: Like I said

Andrew: We already know about you and in our pack we don't give second chances

The other wolves eventually came with one wolf getting Sura and the others
