Chapter 27

I reached the jungle and I reached my old lair. I complied to the pack yet again. Berdan has been quiet is from what I am hearing. I have been in the pack for about three days and I bet Hope has been worried about me, very worried. The Eagle King has been giving me messages every now and then of what is going with Hope and Simba. Me and the pack had a meeting one day, with all of the animals of the jungle on the desperate crisis of Berdan and his army.

Luri: Alright now this is a very big crisis...The new tiger, Berdan, wants to take over the jungle and the only one that can defeat a tiger is a buffalo or Andrew the wolf

?: I think we should get Andrew to defeat him.....

A huge talk broke out till Augustine brought his megaphone and yelled 'hey let Luri talk'.

Luri: Thank you Augustine...now Andrew do you agree with you defeating Berdan

Andrew: Yes but I can't do it alone, I need a army to defeat Berdan's army.

Luri: Alright it has been decided now go back to your normal lives we will discuss this later

I went back to my old den where Akru, Sura, Maki and Lala came back with me

Akru: You are going aren't you

Andrew: No I am just waiting for the perfect time when they attack

That very day I heard Baloo was in trouble by monkeys and I quickly morphed up and went to help. I saw Berdan in the distance and he came down towards me.

Berdan: Now you are the human that killed my cousin, you will pay dearly for that

Andrew: No you will pay dearly for even coming here...super mode

I morphed up and got my claws out and the fight began and everyone was watching and I was determined to win this battle. I got my claws and I kept swinging at him just to get him started. He came at me full fury and knocked the crap out of me. I got up but I couldn't. He was very strong and I had to weaken him.

Berdan: You are a worthy opponent and this is your end.

He swung at me and I rolled just to get away. I rolled to a river nearby and let it take me downstream. I washed up and woke up hours later in a daze with wolves around me.

?: Shh he is waking up

There were bandages all around my body due to his claws and I was in pain. I had wounds from my legs up to my chest. I woke up and I saw Lala, Maki, Luri and Sura there in front of me.

Luri: Why did you make a foolish decision like that

Andrew: I didn't know he was that strong

Luri: Now look at you and now you can't fight, and I thought you were wiser than that

She walked out of the lair, very made at me

Akru: She is right, you know, you shouldn't have done that

Sura: Yeah

I got up and started walking

Akru: You should be getting rest

Andrew: There is no rest now, there is only war Akru and even if I am injured like this, will fight if I have to

I went down to the river then the wolf spirit came out of the blue.

WS: You ought to know better than do that on your own

Andrew: I know but I just wanted to try to get to know his strengths and weaknesses Wolf Spirit

WS: But there is a way to defeat him, a crystal about the size of your finger, will fit in that hole on your morpher, Andrew, it's in a cave in the jungle, somewhere......

I was out to find the crystal, but I can't do it alone. I have to use the guidance of my instincts to get that crystal and defeat Berdan once and for all.
