Jungle Kid

Chapter 4

I was destined to make sure Sandah knows I am part wolf. I can sense that monkeys were around in the area so I have to be alert. Vermilion has been staying with us for about two days now and he loves it every one bit. I wanted to be part of the pack but it is hard too when they want me out all the time. I am absolutely getting sick of it. I was with Akru and Sura one afternoon before sunset. 

Andrew: I think the only way the pack is going to like me if I use the crystal

Akru: You really think so

Andrew: I hope so

Sura: If it doesn't it is not the biggest reason in the world only Sandah would want to leave even more

An assembly call came upon us. 

Andrew: Here goes nothing....wolf

I went with Akru and Sura back up to Council Rock where Vermilion and the others were

Andrew: Alright act natural 

Akru: Look there is Sandah

A few minutes passed then Sandah then started speaking

Sandah: Where is the boy cowardly enough not to come....I smell the same scent is he even here

Andrew: Right here Sandah

Sandah: No way it can't be 

Andrew: Yeah Sandah it is me

Sandah: You are still human why am I still listening to you

It didn't work. That didn't work and I don't know why she hates human so.....so much. After the assembly I decided not to go on the hunt and head back to my den which was make out of twigs, leaves, and straw for the inside of the den. It is made on a cliff side, not an actual den in the ground. I just sat there and thought about my place in the pack. Sandah was obviously going to leave and the wolves would just go all out on me because I was the reason why they left so I had only one choice. I have to run away from the pack, maybe go back to my own kind. Who knew where I was going. I left the den not thinking about where I was going but to get away from the pack as far as possible. I then headed South and apparently there is a village South of the rock so that is where I went. I went past trees and rivers and surprisingly no sign of Shere Khan. 

Andrew: Where am I...I thought there is a village somewhere near here

Back later that night the pack came back from a hunt and Akru and Sura came straight towards my den. 

Akru: Andrew we got some buffalo try it....Andrew....

They saw I was gone and reported it straight to Luri.

Luri: You mean he left he is gone

Akru: Yes we could not find him anywhere

Luri: Hmm....it is because he can't take the fact that no matter how much he tried to be a wolf no one looked at him as a wolf and he probably knew anyway that Lala's father is going to leave with Sandah. That is the reason why he left nothing else.

Akru: Are we going to try finding him

Sura: Yeah what will we do

Luri: Let's not tell anyone about this that will just cause some things to go on in the pack and we will not find him let's let him find his own way home

Both: Hmm hmm
