It's a promise

Khushi got shocked why did Arnavji did this I wanted to dance with him...what kind of person he is letting me dance with someone else..... Since morning he kept on saying 'you are mine' ..... what he is doing....ok then if it's your wish then even I won't step back

Arnav: What have I done! now Khushi will dance with that N.K

NK: Khushi Ji may I have a dance

Khushi fumes, and giving Arnav a mocking smile,

Madhubala: buffoon keep your hand on her waist

Arnav and Khushi gazed at each other NK kept his hand on Khushi's waist and they both started dancing. Khushi was still glaring at Arnav and saw how jealous he was getting. he was unable to look at them so he was about to flee but Khushi was in full revenge mood so she shouted

Along with Arnav she grabbed whole family's attention. However instead of Arnav she was looking at NK

Arnav was again about to leave

Arnav who was looking at Khushi and fuming, comprehended what she was trying to say and ran to help and took her in his arms and saved her from a fall.

They had an eye lock

He whispered with husky voice: So I can't do even a single task properly huh... so I should have let you fall I shouldn't have come up and helped you.

Khushi whispering: why did u denied dancing with me? since the prior night you are fighting with me and kept saying that "you are mine" and now what transpired that so easily you left me with him to dance?

Anjali : Khushiji Hope you are not hurt
Arnav and khushi broke there eye lock and looked at Anjali who was nearing them

khushi: I am fine. Arnavji did not let me fall

Arnav : (in mind ) And won't even let you ever.

Madhu: done with kids now its time for the elders
nani called up buwaji and asked her to come and dance with them

Madhu: Till Buwaji arrives you all take a break.
every one took break except for two souls who are still in eye lock dancing even without music
Akash: payalji
payal: yes Akash Ji
Akash: Payalji you are a pretty good dancer
Payal: (blushing) Even you are a pretty good dancer but hope you are not tired
Akash: No Payalji I can keep dancing with you my whole life

still unaware the music is stopped ages ago and everyone's gazes are on them

Payal: Even I can dance with you for ever
Arnav stood behind Khushi looking at the couple dancing in trance whispered to Khushi

Arnav: Even I want to dance with you and can do that forever

khushi : I am all yours you can do anything with me

Arnav Who after hearing khushi came out of his trance and was stunned with what khushi just whispered

khushi: I didn't mean that ...I mean I was trying to say that ....Arnavji

Arnav: shhh I understand that.

Anjali: let's trick khushiji. let's bring them back to earth.

Khushi : (with teasing smile) Yes di lets move

NK, Madhu, Anjali and khushi went to the couple and whistled around to grab their attention.

Akash: Payalji did the music got stopped
Payal:  I think so
breaking the reverie the couple looked around and got embarrassed

khushi : mimicking payal looked at anjali) akash ji

Anjali : mimicking Akash adjusting her invisible specks

with that every one started laughing 😂

Madhu: why are you flushing so much save some shyness for the wedding night
unable to handle the situation Both of them ran in different directions

Observing the couples antique they all burst out laughing

Khushi observed Arnav's slight smile

Arnav likewise peeked at khushi and gave her smile also a signal to follow him

He left for his room and waited for khushi to come

She too made some excuse and follwed him

As she entered his room

he took her in and locked the door and made her sit on the recliner while getting himself settled on the floor.
facing Khushi he took both her hands in his hold

Khushi: you want to say something?

Arnav : khushi I want to say....i mean wedding.....means we both
Khushi:  I am listening to you  Arnavji tell

arnav: I want to marry you Khushi. I know am not proposing in your Salman khan style but I am what I am Khushi.  it is hard for me to express what is in my heart through words. but you know me right! Then why are you troubling me since morning?

khushi: even I want to get married to you and I am sorry that I troubled you and  hurt you but my intention was never to hurt I was just kidding around but

arnav :( keeping his finger on her mouth he signaled her to stop and took her in his arms sat on recliner making khushi almost sit on his lap khushi too hugged him tight they both were having tears  in there eyes and found solace in each other

khushi : I know Arnavji its not easy for you even then you are trying.
I even know that you don't believe in marriage I won't ask you the reason but you are asking me to get married because you don't want to lose me, not because you want to marry me

arnav : you understand me very well

Khushi: yes Arnavji but I can't marry you now not until you are ready. Till then I want to leave in the present and I believe in you that one day you by your self will come and propose in Salman khan style because that day, you would be completely ready for the marriage from the bottom of your heart and on that day I won't deny. I will wait for it

Arnav: thanks Khushi but I want a promise from you that you would wait for me I can't see you with anyone else you are just mine.

Khushi: I promise you Arnavji
