1. How he asks you out

Today my best friend Shawn asked me to meet him at the roof of his apartment building at 8. I have liked him for a long time now but I know I shouldn't like because he's my best friend but I can't help it. I mean it's exciting to see what he has planned but I'm nervous and scared to I mean you never know what Shawn has up his sleeves. I'm getting ready to meet Shawn and it's hard to decide what to wear because I don't know whether i should dress casual or dressy. In the end I go with casual I put a Harry potter t-shirt on and some high waisted jeans with a flannel shirt and some trainers. I go to meet him and I'm a little bit early but I don't mind waiting a minute or to for him. I hear the roof door open and I see Shawn in his green hoodie and his black jeans. He smiles as soon as he sees me and of course I smile back.
"Hey Y/N"

"Hey Shawn so why did u want to meet up here? I mean it's a bit strange."

"Well Y/N I came up here to talk to you about something and what better way to do it then up here with an amazing view and under the stars."

"Ok well now intrigued to what you want to tell me so go ahead the floor is all yours Mendes."

"Ok (takes a deep breath) Y/N I have known you for years and I have gotten to know you so much and to be honest I can't think about a life without you in it you have changed my life for the better. Over the past few months I haven't been able to stop thinking about you and whenever someone mentions you I instantly smile. (Takes another breath) so what in trying to say is Y/N I really like you and in fact I think I'm head over heels in love with you. I get it if i have just ruined our friendship because I like you but I couldn't keep it in anymore I understand if you don't want to talk to me again after this."

"Shawn honestly you think I would leave after that you have no idea how long I have wanted you to say something like that because Shawn I really like you too I just didn't want to say anything."

Shawn gets down on one knee with a rose.

"Ok so Y/F/N (your full name) would you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?" He says while holding the rose out to her.

" I would love to go out with you Shawn."
You then take the rose and Shawn gets up he walks over to you and hugs you and you hug back. You both then let go of eachother and you get lost in each others eyes. You both start to lean in and you share your first kiss together under the stars. You both felt electricity through the kiss and passion even though it was a simple kiss.

"Y/N you have no idea how long I have waited to do that!" You chuckle and lean in for another kiss. After that you went downstairs to his condo/ apartment and fell asleep cuddled up with each other. You both knew this was going to be a night to remember for a long time.

Hi I hope you guys enjoyed my first imagine, I know it's probably not the best but I tried my hardest and hopefully I get better as I go along. I would really appreciate it if i got some feedback on my first imagine so I then know how to improve for the next imagine. I might not update all the time but hopefully I will update at least once a week.
