33. fake boyfriend

I have to help provide for my family. We aren't very rich and we don't have that much money. When I saw this job opportunity I took the chance because it paid very well.

I have to be Shawn Mendes' fake girlfriend so he can get better population and paid more attention too. We have both signed the contract and today is the day we meet.

Andrew, his manager, told me he's not so keen on this idea so if he's a bit cold there is a reason.

I walk in the room with Andrew and there is Shawn.

"Shawn this is Y/N, Y/N this is Shawn."

"Nice to meet you Y/N." He says with a small smile.

"Nice to meet you too." I say returning the small smile he gave me.

"So you guys will be fake dating eachother until further notice. You will go out together and hold hands. You will kiss and hug out in public. Tweet and post cute couple goals photos. Also you will support Shawn at every event he goes too. Shanw if they ask you about having a girlfriend you tell them that it is Y/N and you will say a story line of you two met which me have come up with and you will also have to say how much you love her. You guys got it?"

We both nod our heads.

"Good you both start now."

"Ok." Shawn says.

We both get up.

He holds his hand out for me to take so I do.

"Look I know this is meant to be business and all but I would like to get to know you so this isn't awkward between us."

"Yeah I agree with you on that one so what do you want to know?"

"Well how old are you? Why did you take this job? About family? And just you in general?"

"Ok so I have just turned 20 recently. I took this job because my family are in great need of money because my dad left us a couple of years ago for another woman and my mum hasn't got the greatest of jobs so it's my job to help out and make money. It's just me, my mum and my little sister Lisa. I love art, I love to draw and that pretty much it about me."

"I'm sorry about the whole money situation."

"Its fine honestly."

"I'm still sorry. So we know eachother better now."

"Actually I know who you are but not personally so tell me about yourself pop star."

"First of all pop star really?"

"Yup."

"Second of all I'm just an ordinary person, I love to play hockey and I love Harry potter."

"I love Harry potter too."

"Then thats something we can watch together."

"Yes, definetly. "

"So..."

"So..."

We get outside and there is a bunch of paparazzi outside.

"I'm going to kiss you now in front of the paps ok?"

"Ok."

He leans down and kisses Me. It's soft and gentle. He pulls away and smiles.

They paps and fans are going crazy.

"Guys this is my girlfriend Y/N I love her so much and please don't go hating on her. I love you guys but I have to go sorry."

We get into a car that is for us and we just start talking and having a good time. We knew this was start of a beautiful friendship.

Six months later......

I was still fake dating Shawn Mendes but honestly I don't mind it. We have gotten to know eachother really well and we are super close. Even though we are fake dating when we are not around cameras we still act all lovey and he still gives me kisses which I find strange but I'm not one to complain about kissing him.

"Hey hun." Shawn says walking in the room all chirpy.

"Hey what's got you all happy Mendes?"

"Oh you know nothing much." He sits down next to me.

"So Y/N I ahve something to tell you and I have asked Andrew about it but I want to tell you something first and hear what you have to say before we make a decision."

"Ok....does this by any chance have anything to do with how you are so chirpy and smiley."

"Possibly."

"Ok go on then."

"Ok so since I first layed eyes on you I thought you were really beautiful. I got to know you more and fell in love with the person you are. You are an incredible person and for me to like someone is very hard on the road because I'm never in one place for too long and because you were here with me I have fallen in love with you. So I told Andrew how I felt. He said if you feel the same way we can forget about the contract and date for real. The money you made fake dating will go straight to your family so they have money to live on and will not need you anymore meaning you can stay with me."

"Wow that's a lot of information to take in. I appreciate what you are doing for my family. I really like you too So I'm willing to give us a shot and travel with you."

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Ok so Y/N will you do me the on honour of being my real girlfriend?"

I giggle a little.

"Yes I will."

He pulls me onto his lap and I put my hands on the sides of his cheeks and pull my lips towards his. Knowing the we are both actually eachothers now it feels so good. Our lips fit together like pieces of a puzzle. We are having a tiny make out session it probably would have gone further if there wasn't a knock at the door.

Knock...knock...

"Damn it." Shanw mutters under his breath. I jump off of his lap and he opens the door.

"Hey Shawn." It's Andrew.

"So how is the new offical couple."

"Great but you kinda ruined it." Shawn says.

I just laugh and so does Andrew.

"I'm so happy you guys are both together together now we could all see you both actually liked eachother."

"Oh you did?"

"Yeah it wasn't hard to tell."

"Oh ok well I don't really care about anything now I have the girl of my dreams and that's all the matters to me right now."

"Aww well I'll leave you guys too it see ya both."

"Bye." We both say in unison.

He leaves and shaen kisses me and says "where were we."

He picks me up and spins me around which makes me laugh then takes us to the bedroom. Let's just say that evening was very fun and full of love (imagine whatever you like).

I love him and he loved me and th is relationship was actually real. I was so lucky and he says he's lucky he has me. Fate brought us together and that is a bond that can't be broken.
