29. interview

Today I am interviewing Shawn Mendes. Yes the SHAWN MENDES. I am very nervous to interview him as this is my first interview assignment and it's Shawn Mendes. He's so handsome and I don't know how I am going to get through this interview.

I have been preparing questions and made sure I have a really good outfit on. I'm not trying to impress him... Ok that's a lie maybe I am but it doesn't hurt to look professional aswell. Not only do i have to interview him. But I have to interview him while he is doing a photshoot meaning different outfits and possible shirtless photos which I am going to have to try not to fangirl over.

I'm still really nervous to meet him. Yeah I'm an ordinary girl and has an ordinary guy but I can't help but feel so insecure about myself.

I look at myself in the mirror feeling insecure but feel like I look ok so I leave the house.

I get to work and see that Shawn is there already talking to my boss Bob (change the name if you want I couldn't think of a better name).

"Hey Y/N You are here! Come over." So i walk over and some how manage to trip and almost fall but I manage to steady myself.

"You ok?" My boss asks.

"I'm fine you know how clumsy I can be." I give a small smile slightly embarrassed that I just did that in front of Shawn Mendes.

"Don't worry about being clumsy I'm pretty clumsy myself." Shawn says slightly chuckling to make me feel less embarrassed which I am thankful for.

He smiles at me which makes me smile. He has such a nice smile. My boss starts talking making me stop daydreaming.

"So I want you guys for about an hour get to know eachother so that both of you are comfortable for when the photo shoot and interview happen later on in the day."

"Sounds good!" Shawn says.

"Ok that's fine by me." I say.

"Great I will let you two get to know eachother for a bit." And he walks away leaving me and Shawn alone. We talk a lot and he is honestly such a great guy. He made me laugh and I made him laugh we were having a lot of fun. I felt like I have known him for years. Little did we know that an hour had already passed by until my boss walked up to us saying Shawn needs to start getting ready for the photo shoot.

I'm a little less nervous now that I have gotten to know the real him but I mean so not ready to see him do a photo shoot.

He walks in with a shirt and his iconic black jeans. His shirt was buttoned up only half way and it was hot. He walked up to me.

"Hey Y/N."

"Hey."

"You ready to interview me?"

"Yeah you ready to be asked questions?"

"Yeah I guess so. I have to start the photo shoot see you in a bit."

"See ya."

About ten minutes later he has done some pictures and it's my turn to interview him. I ask him questions and it doesn't take him long to respond. When we are done with the interview he goes back to having his photo taken again. I feel awkward because I have to linger around until everything is fully done.

About twenty minutes later he's doneand he walks up to me.

"So Y/N I know we only just met today but I would like to get to know you more because you seem like a nice person. Plus you are very pretty so I was wondering do you maybe want to grab a coffee or something after I get changed?"

"I would love to."

"Great wait here I'll be back in like five to ten minutes."

Oh my god I can't believe Shawn Mendes has asked me to hang out with him. I think it's a good thing too because I really wanted to get go know him more too because he is such a great guy.
I feel like this could potentially go somewhere but I don't want to get my hopes up in case nothing works out.

"Hey You ready to go?"

"Yeah."

He drives us to a small café where he won't get recognised as much.

We talk and get to know eachother more and we laugh and no one comes up to us and interrupts us so it's good.

We decided to go for  a walk around the park. We are walking right next to eachother when our hands slightly brush up against eachother and then I feel him grab my hand.

I see an empty swing. So I look up to him.

"Shawn can I please go on the swing?"

"Of course."

"Yay!" I drag him over and start to swing but he starts pushing me without asking him too.

I start to get too high and feel like I'm about to fall off the swing.

"Shawn can you please stop the swing? It's too high and I feel like I'm about to fall off the swing."

He laughs and he tried stopping it but fails miserable making me laugh. He eventually stops it but now he's looking down at me and I'm looking up.
I see his eyes trail down to my lips.

He starts to lean in and so do I and we kiss. His lips are so soft and gentle.

We pull back.

"Wow."

"Yeah wow." Shawn says.

"I know we haven't known eachother long but I know that I already like you so will you do me the honour of being my girlfriend?"

"Yes I will." I say smiling then kissing him again. Who knew I would fall in love with this amazing guy through work. So I glad that I took this job otherwise I wouldn't have met my partner for life.
