So today is the day I am going to marry the love of my life. Shawn Mendes. The love of my life. My everything. The reason I get up every morning and now knowing that hes going to be there every morning when I wake up for the rest of my life is the best feeling in the world.

We were friends, best friends before we dated. Shawn made the first move and asked me out and I said yes. As the years went by our relationship got more and more serious and I fell more and more in love with him. On our 3 year anniversary shawn took us on a picnic by a river in our spot that only we knew about. He made us food and it was incredible. I was admiring the view when shawn told me to turn around when I did he was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring in his hand. He made a speech and asked me to marry him I didn't even have to think about it I said straight away and well here we are today about to get married and I can't wait.

I'm getting ready for the wedding by myself doing my makeup when I hear a knock at the door with a small voice and I instantly knew it was Shawn's.

"Y/N baby I'm very nervous. Dont get me wrong I'm so excited for for you to be my wife but I don't want to mess up my words in front of everyone because these are going to be the most important words that will ever come out fo my mouth and the most important words I will ever say in general and they are all dedicated to you and I dont want to mess it up."

"Shawn baby, I honestly don't care if you mess up because I will know what you mean and I'm so excited to marry you because I love you. Who cares about what everyone else thinks. Today is about me and you and all I care about today is you. Who cares what people think shawn the only person you should worry about what they think is me and I'm not going to do anything because I love you just the way you are."

"Thank you baby girl I love you too now I'm going to go so we can get ready I'll see you at the alter darling."

"See you there shawn."

I get the rest of me ready with my friends who are also my bridesmaids and my mum. We finished my makeup, hair and put the dress on.

I was already to go. I was ready to marry the one for life. My dad links arms with me and we start heading towards the room with everyone in behind all the bridesmaids.

"You know Y/N I'm so proud of you and I have been waiting for this day for ages. I knew you and shawn would end up together and I couldn't have asked for anyone better to marry you. I can tell you are so in love because you act the way I do around your mum. I love you so much princess and you're all grown up now and I'm so proud of the woman you have become."

"Thank you dad that really means alot and I love you so much but don't worry I will always be your little girl." I say then kiss his cheek.

We walk down the aisle and I see shawn. Our eyes instantly connect and I smile wisely. I reach the end of the aisle and my dad places my hand in Shawn's and sits down.

The priest starts the ceremony off and me and shawn couldn't take our eyes off of each other.

"Its now time for the vows."

Shawn goes first. Brian gives him his piece of paper.

"The first time I ever met you was back in reception when we were both 5 years old we instantly connected. Then we both came home and realised that we lived right next door to each other. From that day on we were inseparable and spent every day together. As time grew on and we got into our late teens. I fell for you hard and I showed you exactly how I felt after I plucked up the courage to ask you on a date at the end of that date I asked you out and you said yes and honestly I felt like happiest guy in the world after you said that. As our relationship grew I fell more and more in love with you. Those little quirks you have is what I love about you. I love everything you do and I love the way you do everything with such precision. I've always been in love with you and as our relationship grew I knew you were the one. The one for life. The one I want to grow old with. The one I want to have children with, I want a family with you. Y/N i love you so so much and I'm ready to spend the rest of my life with you."

That makes me teary and one tear slips down my cheek and shawn wipes it away.

"Shawn I've always liked you even though back them I would never have admitted it because I thought it was embarrassing to like a guy especially your best friend. You have always been there for me and I've been so grateful for that. You shawn are such an incredible person and I'm so lucky not only to have had you in my life for all these years but I'm lucky to be able to spend the rest of my life with you. I was so happy when you asked me out because I'm not going to lie I was waiting for you to ask that question for a while. I was so happy when you did and from that point on we grew even closer than before. I've known you were the one for a while shawn and I'm so glad we are getting married because I cant think of anyone else i would rather spend my life with. I love you so so much shawn."

Everyone claps now that the vows are over and me and shawn and pretty much crying with happy tears.

"Do you shawn take Y/F/N to be you lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do."

"Do you Y/F/N take shawn to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

We both exchange the rings.

"You may now kiss the bride."

The kiss was soft, slow and passionate. This kids had to have been the best kiss we have ever shared together.

"I love you Y/N."

"I love you too Shawn."

And with that we both lived happily ever after.
