12. the day you met

Today my friend wanted to drag me round the centre of Manchester (aka where I pretty much live) because she knew Shawn Mendes was here for a week for a couple of shows. She wanted to meet him badly. I wasn't that bothered about meeting him. Yeah he has brilliant music and is cute but he's a normal human being he deserves to be treated with respect like every other person. Yeah be has fame and money but that doesn't mean he's not like us. My friend Abby (sorry if it's your name) was literally dragging me everywhere. We decided we would take a pit stop at a café. My other friend Chad works at this café so he hooks us up with free things.

Right when we get comfortable we hear the bell ring to signal that someone just walked in. We both look over and we see Shawn Mendes. Abby turns round and mouths to me oh my god. I just roll my eyes. She looks back at me now and starts to whisper "oh my god Y/N that's Shawn Mendes. Wow he's hotter in person and taller." I look at her and go "why are you whispering?" Causing her to laugh. Your friend Chad gives you a shout to say Your order is ready Abby tells you to get it because she doesn't want to embarrass herself in front of Shawn. I go up and I trip. I know I'm about to fall over so I brace myself for impact of hitting the floor but I don't hit it, instead I feel someone's hands around my waist. I look up and see that Shawn caught me "woah there you Ok?" You look at him while getting out if his grip and standing up. "I'm fine thanks for um... catching me before I fell to the ground on my face you saved me from a big embarrassment." He smiles at you "it's no problem I can tell you are the clumsy type but don't worry I'm pretty clumsy myself." You chuckle. Chad says "Y/N you alright?" "Yeah I'm good Chad no need to worry." He nods "ok well here is your usual and your friends order." "Ok thanks Chad. Well I guess I'll see you round thanks again." Shawn looks at you "again it's no problem see you around?" "Y/N my name is Y/N." "Ok well see you around and I'm Shawn." " I know anyways see ya." You walk and sit back down.

"Here you go the food we ordered that I had to get and while I got it embarrassed myself for go get so you are welcome." Abby is laughing her head. You sit down and just start eating your warm double chocolate chip cookies and have your cup of tea. Abby start a to eat hers. Around 10 minutes later we both finish. We just sit there for a while talking then Abby says "Oh my god." You gasp for comedy "what?" "Shawn Mendes is staring at you." You chuckle "what? like that would happen I'm not exactly pretty am I?" "Y/N you are beautiful gorgeous even don't put yourself down like that it if you look over at him without making it look like you are looking on purpose you will see that he is looking at you." "Ok fine Abby."You look over to pretend to take in the café and you make eye contact and see that he is staring. He notices you looking at him smiles but looks down because he blushes slightly. "Ok so he is staring at me. So what?" You say while turning back round. Abby just laughs. "Well I have to go I'll see you tomorrow." She gets up you hug and she walks off before she walks through the door she yells "BYE Y/N!!!" You laugh. You are now all alone so you just decide to scroll on your phone. You hear the chair in front of you move. You lock your phone and look up. You see Shawn. "Hey he says "hi" he start a talking and you get to know eachother better you laugh and have fun with him. You look at the time and realise you have to go. "Shawn I have to go now." "He says "Ok do you want a lift because we will take you home if you want?" "Are you sure I don't want to be a bother." "Yeah I'm sure so come on." You direct him to your house and finally pull up. " Thanks Shawn." "It's fine honestly. Hey um can I get your number?" He asks nervously "Yeah of course you can." You smile at eachother. He's asks "can we take a photo?" "Sure as long as we can take one on my phone too." "Yeah of course you can." You take some nice photos and some silly ones. You both go through the photos and laugh. You get out of the car and so does Shawn. He hugs you goodbye and you unlock your phone and see what Shawn put as his contact name

You laugh little did you know after that day when you met was the start of a beautiful friendship that would later on go into an amazing relationship.
