"i'm so glad you're going smiling again" my dad smiled to me as i showed him my outfit i was wearing because me and jack are going for lunch.

"i know, me too" i said with another smile.

bryan came down.

"jack?" he asked.

"yup" i said.

"okay" he said and walked back upstairs.

he's strange sometimes.

there was a knock on the door.

"have fun." my dad smiled.

"bye" i said as i walked to the door.

jack and his very cute smile appeared in front of me.

"hi" he said smiling.

"hey" i said back and followed him out to his car.

and we went to lighthouse.

only the best pizza place in all of nebraska.

we got there soon.

we got a table and sat there.

"so did you have any boyfriends while i was gone?" he asked me.

"nope" i said.

"okay" he said. "wait where is zoey? i haven't seen her once and you guys are always together too"

"she's on vacation, she'll be back like tomorrow or something" i said not really sure.

"i want your opinion on something when we go back to your house" he said.

"is it a song verse?" i asked.

"yeah" he said defeated.

"oh you know that girl, that went to school with us, crap what was her name?" i said, the last part to myself

"oh uh katie" i said remembering.

"oh that girl was really dumb, she made like straight F's didn't she?" he said.

"yeah, i saw that she got into hopkins, it's a school. that's like the best school in the country almost" i said.
