you're the one,
you're the one for me.
you're the song i hum underneath
my breath to make everything okay,
you're the thoughts i try to bring back
when i'm on the edge of anxiety,
you're the smile that grows on my lips
when i think of yesterday,
you're the light in my eyes when
i finally feel a flower bloom in my chest,
but alas, you leave,
and just like that,
i forget the song,
i can't bring the thoughts,
my smile is gone,
and the lights fade.
