"Guys, I think I'm in love!" By a shimmering stream in a dense, moonlit forest, four tiny glowing figures conversed. If one looked closer, they would notice that the four were young, beautiful fairy-looking women.

Well, three of them were fairies at least. And only those three were squealing and dancing around under the moonlight, their faces gleeful and gay.

The fourth, the only non-fairy, had a dainty brow raised in questioning, sipping the sweet-scented rose tea from the porcelain cups.

"Oh hush, you're just a little baby! Don't even bother to deal with those disgusting things known as men — they're useless! Plus, as if your father would allow you to date a hooligan like that."

The three fairies stopped their celebration, turning to look at the only non-fairy there with the 'shut da fuck up' look from that one vine.

One of the girls — the one supposedly 'in love' — stepped out of their pumpkin spice lord summoning circle, placing her hands on her hips as she looked at him, extremely offended. "I'm old enough to be able to choose who I want to date! Father would be fine with it! Plus, your an ancient old man who looks like a woman and has never gotten with someone ever! What right do you have to say that to me?"

The male's relaxed brow raised once again and he put down the porcelain teacup gently, pulling himself up in one fluid, elegant movement. He walked forward, long waist-length hair bouncing as he did. His large, translucent baby blue wings fluttered with his steps, giving him the aura of an immortal fairy.

He approached the girl, standing right in front of her and leaning out to poke her on the tip of her nose.

"You are sixteen."

"Going on seventeen!" She replied smugly.

He leaned forward pinching the fairy's rosy cheeks. "Yes, and I'm one-thousand six hundred and sixty-four, going on one-thousand six-hundred and sixty-five. You're just a little baby."

With another offended look, the fairy took a large step back, right where the other girls had been standing before. But now, they had somehow migrated to the toadstools nearby, giggling as their shimmering wings fluttered in excitement.

"How am I a baby? Just because you're so old and lonely doesn't mean you know anything! If Father says you can date, I can too!"

The non-fairy's head tilted to the side, his face full of disbelief. "I'm old enough to be your father's great-grandfather, do you really believe I need his permission if I want to see someone? And my dating life has nothing to do with yours."

"Liriope, just admit that you're not as all-knowing as you appear to be! I'm old enough now to start trying to find a lover and old enough to view the world of humans and Spirits! Most fae our age have already gone to see these things but you and dad have tied us down!"

Yes, this Liriope was the exact one that Jess had transmigrated into — that exact same hunted Wood Spirit. But never had he expected that this extra feminine-looking man was such a beauty! He was even more gorgeous than the best from both worlds! (His original world and first mission world)

"And that's why fae your age are most likely to be caught and caged by humans. Really Rosalva, you're expecting too much of the outside world — it's horrible."

Popping her hip out once again, Rosalva placed her hand right back where it belongs. "I'm responsible! And so is Cirrus! He's an absolute sweetheart to me, nothing less than a gentleman I tell you! I solemnly swear that he is a gorgeous, respectful young man that could easily gain your approval!"

Liriope scoffed, a disbelieving look in his eye. "The boy's a teenage disaster, have you not seen what he wears?!"

Rosalva looked even more offended by the Spirit, turning away and mumbling "I think he looks rather dashing" before turning back round all of a sudden, a harsh glare on her pretty face "And plus, how can you talk? Mostly everyone thinks you're a woman! You're even prettier than the fairy all the guys drool over!"

"I can talk because I've had more experience in this world than you could ever. I was alive when your great-grandfather and mother were born for gods sake! And do you really think I want to look like this? I'd much prefer if I was manlier but unfortunately, that would not allow me to get my job done as well."

Rosalva huffed, turning her head to the side and looking into the distance with a disdainful expression. The two other fairies continued their giggling fit, trying to hide the tinkling bell-like laughter behind their smooth palms. The two girls would glance at each other, causing another fit to wash over them.

It was quite obvious they found a lot of enjoyment from Liriope's hardassness and Rosalva's youthful curiosity. After all, Liriope was the most advanced in age and Rosalva was the youngest of the set. The other two were both twenty, both had already experienced what it was like to go through dating, heartbreak and viewing of the real world.

And both had experienced Liriope's views and unyielding nature when they were Rosalva's age and wanted to experience the world. When looking back on it, they wished they had followed the wise older Spirit's advice instead of going against what he said (more like ordered).

But seeing the youngest of their set so openly disobeying the ancient man with his 'friendly' advice and seeing his stubborn nature thrown upon someone else was extremely hilarious.

Rosalva let out another loud huff, fluttering her wings in anger before taking off from the ground and flying into the dense foliage beyond.

Seeing this, Liriope let out a loud sigh before taking off as well, landing next to the giggling girls on the toadstool.

"She's going to go off and do the opposite of what I told her, isn't she?"

"Of course she is, Rosalva wouldn't be our favourite flirter if she wasn't!"

I am so, so, so sorry for not updating! I've just had to do so much recently and its killing me :P

Anyways, here's the chappie and I'll HOPEFULLY be able to update more frequently but there's no promises.

The chapter wasn't so much about Jess but about Liriope and Liriope's relationship with some other characters.

And in case you were wondering, there are genuine reasons he's extremely feminine-looking. That will further be explained in future chapters though.

I should also mention that not all Spirits have wings... Why? Well, that will also be explained later on ;)
