The misunderstanding between Hadley and old Mr Cambridge had caused the young man to despise that old codger even further. The only good thing to come out of the little event was the fact that the old perv seemed to lay off a bit. As a patriot of his country, how could old Cambridge sleep with a possible supporter of R Country?

With this new strain in their relationship, Hadley became even further disliked by the Cambridge family. Had he not been able to dance, he was sure that protective Mrs Cambridge would have found a way to get rid of him. She was a lover of ballet and fine arts at her core and if she met someone who could dance well, she would naturally favour them over someone who couldn't.

He really needed to go visit the old man and give his thanks. Maybe visit his younger brother while there...

And with that thought in his head, Hadley decided what he would do the next morning.

Falling asleep on his shared king-sized bed, Hadley did not notice the quiet-as-a-mouse husband of his come home and into their room. Seeing his wild little husband sound asleep on the bed, looking oh so lovely and innocent, he couldn't help but sigh and quickly pull off his clothes and put on his pyjama pants.

Going into the adjoined bathroom to do his stuff, Louis couldn't help but sigh. When he first married Hadley, he had thought the lively boy would have settled down and become a proper husband that seemed to belong to the rich's standards. But he had not changed inkling since that day seven years ago. He was still as energetic, youthful and stunning as he had been on their wedding day. While Louis had changed immensely, became more mature and aged, Hadley remained a timeless beauty.

After finishing preparing for bed, Louis walked back into the bedroom and for a few moments stared at the gorgeous man lying sound asleep on the bed before moving to sit quietly next to him. A faint smile appeared on his lips when he noticed that Hadley had not even stirred in the slightest.

Louis gently ran his hand down the side of the boy's sleeping face, admiring him in all his gorgeousness. Even if they had grown further apart as time went on, Louis still deeply loved the boy. By now, he knew that Hadley was not his soulmate but something kept him from divorcing and moving on.

He leant down, leaving a light, lingering kiss on Hadley's smooth forehead.

"I love you my dear but sometimes you really need to calm down with your antics. They will be the end of me."

With a gentle smile on his face, Louis lay down and pulled Hadley towards him, caging the boy in his arms as if he would fly away. Finding a comfortable spot, he eventually managed to fall asleep.

Waking up encaged in Louis' arms, Hadley was slightly surprised. For quite a while now, Louis had not held him when they slept. At first, this was a common occurrence but as years went by, the distance they had in bed increased. Sometimes, they would even sleep in different beds.
