FOR THE PAST TWO DAYS, we've been on the road. I'd like to say I love it but it's boring. Nothing but open road. Sam stares at his laptop, looking for what he calls cases. I sit in the back and sleep mostly. Sometimes Dean puts the radio on but most of the time the only thing I hear is the old car's loud roar as it moves.
"Hey, I think I got something." Sam says.
"Okay, let's hear it." Dean says. My head perks up upon hearing something new.
"Get this, 'Teenager institutionalized claims possession after murdering a fellow classmate by drowning her in the girls' bathroom.'" Sam reads off his computer.
"Sounds like our kind of thing. Let's check it out." Dean says.
"So what do we do?" I ask.
"We get you a fake badge, and then investigate." He says. I frown.
"Like, when you pretended to be FBI agents?" I ask.
"Exactly." Sam says.
"So, Rowan, how good are you at lying?" Dean asks. I shrug.
"Guess we'll find out." I say, jokingly. Sam laughs.
"Great." Dean says sarcastically.
After meeting a friend of theirs to get me a fake federal badge, we head to a small town to investigate the murder of the teenager.

Dean and I wait in the car upon getting to the mental institution. We agree to send Sam in, so he gets into a white nurse-type outfit and heads into the building, leaving Dean and I in silence.
"So...um..." Dean says, trying to make conversation. "When did you meet dad?" He asks me.
"When I was twelve." I say, not fully initiating myself into the conversation.
"So, what did you think of him, when you met him?" Dean asks me. I laugh.
"I thought he was made of pure diamond. I absolutely loved him from the moment we met. He seemed so kind and apologized for not being there for me. He tried to bring me with him, but my mother said no, even threatened to take him to court. He agreed to come visit occasionally, promised actually. Never did though." I said.
"I'm sorry that he put you through that." Dean says to me.
"I am too." I say. "I have a question, actually." I say to Dean after a moment.
