“LIKE...GRIM REAPERS?” I ask.
“Yes.” Cas answers.
“Reapers? As in more than one?” Ellen asks.
“They only gather like this at times of great catastrophe- Chicago fire, San Francisco quake…Pompeii.” Cas says. “Excuse me, I need to find out why they’re here.” He begins walking away.
“I’m coming too. They might be able to tell me why I can see them.” I say, running after Cas.
We walk down the street, dodging the reapers standing in the road. “Do they talk?” I ask Cas.
“It depends. Not normally, though.” We reach a building and he stops, looking up at the window. I follow his eyes and see another reaper, except his eyes are pure white.
“Do you hear that?” I ask, hearing whispered voices in my head.
“I do.” He grabs my arm, teleporting us into the second floor of the building where we saw him.
We watch as the reaper walks through a door at the end of the hall. “I have a really bad feeling about this, Cas. It’s not fear, it’s like I want to go through that door; like I have to. That’s not a good sign. We should turn back.”
“It’s too late for that. I’ll protect you, Rowan.” He says and begins walks.
“Not if it costs you your life. I won’t let you.” I say as I follow him. When we reach the door, everything becomes white; it’s all I see.
“Hello, brother.” I hear in the distance.

When the white fades away, we aren’t in a building, but in a basement, and Cas is surrounded by holy fire. I get up from off the ground and walk over to him. “Cas? What do I do?” I ask, panicking.
“You run. Get out of here.” He says.
“No. I’ll say it again; you’re not dying for me.” I tell him.
“That’s so sweet.” A voice says mockingly from the corner of the room. I turn and see the man who came to me in my dreams not once, but twice.
“Lucifer.” Cas confirms.
“Judging by the lovely Rowan’s presence, I take it you’re here with the Winchesters.” Lucifer says.
