[Annas POV]
"Anna you have to talk to him"-Kenzie said as she stood in front of my bathroom mirror curling her hair
"I will I just-I can't not yet"-I said turning around and walking back into my closet
"I know I know but...it's hurting you I know it I can tell so you don't have to talk to him not yet at least but....just hear him out"-Kenzie said putting the curling iron down before looking at me
"I want to talk to him it's just.....I feel so stupid...loving or having these strong feelings for a boy that-i barely understand it's like I want to love him and I know that someday I will but somethings different I feel different when he's gone not just mentally but I physically feel different"-I said sitting on the end he of my bed as she looked at my in confusion
"What do you feel"-she asked leaning on the bathroom counter top
"I feel...homesick"-I said looking at her as she walked to sit next to me on the bed "it's like I met him for a reason. Like he's my soulmate. I feel connected with him. He couldn't do anything wrong. I don't love him because he's beautiful. I love his imperfections and perfections. He's special. When I'm with him my world is just complete and when he's gone or we're not together I feel homesick even if he's in a different room in the same building or he's just been gone for two minutes"-I explained looking at her with tears brimming my lash line.
"Sometimes you meet someone, and it's so clear that the two of you, on some level belong together. As lovers or friends, or as family, or as something entirely different. You just work, whether you understand each other or your in love or partners in crime. You meet these people through out your life, out of nowhere,under the strangest circumstances and they help you feel alive. I don't know if that makes you believe in fate or coincidence or sheer blind luck, but it's definitely means something...what your feeling doesn't make you pathetic it's means something that you'll realize later on but you can only find out if you forgive him...cause he really does love you"-Kenzie said
She always gives the best advice.
"Thank you"-I said before hugging her then wiping my eyes "Well we better finish getting ready"-I said standing up and walking into my closet

"Welcome back to the second day of the fundraiser we have come so close to our donation goal so if you could please stop by the charity booths that would be great and the booths will also be selling raffle tickets for a chance to win five tickets to bora bora for a week"-Principal Evans said as the crowd started cheering and clapping "the only rules are you can only enter once, you have to be 18 or older to enter or parent permission if younger"-Principal Evans added before everyone clapped and she walked off the stage and I walked to my booth.
It wasn't my shift yet but o figured I'd keep Kenzie company on her shift.
"Hey boo"-I said ducking under the tents banner and stepping behind the table
"Hey bitch"-she said laughing as she stood up counting the raffle tickets
"I'm so happy tonight's the last night"-I said laughing as I leaned on the booths table and grabbed the donation bin
"I know right...are you entering the contest"-Kenzie asked still counting the raffle tickets
"No...not interested"-I said raising my eyebrows and looked around at the other booths
"I know right...Chad Aaron and Charles entered"-she said laughing as she shook her head and wrote down what I'm guessing was the raffle tickets count.
"Why"
"They think they have a chance"-Kenzie said sitting and tapping the pin against her leg
"Oh...well if they win I better get a plan ticket to bora"-I said taking a seat in the other chair as Kenzie and i laughed together
"Right"-she said nodding her head in agreement
[Joeys POV]
"Dude you've got to talk to her"-Charles said hitting my back as he held his glass that was full of soda
"I tried"-I said looking at her laugh and smile with Kenzie at the booth
"She's just hurt you have get her alone she's a girl go all out or just be thoughtful"-Aaron said shrugging before taking a sip out of his cup
I looked at him briefly before looking back at Anna and for a split second our eyes locked and I looked into her eyes and I could tell I lost myself to her. She looked away after the brief connection was made but I couldn't she looked...stunning.
That's when the lyrics that were playing sunk in.
Baby that red dress brings me to my knees
Oh but that black dress...makes it hard to breathe
The lyrics kept replaying in my mind as I thought of Anna in all her beauty and perfection...
[Annas POV]
"Do you hate him"-Kenzie asked once we reached the subject of Joey
"I never really hated him"-I said as Kenzie nodded "I tried and I suppose the reason why was because when someone you love leaves, you have to hate them to get over them because they don't want you and you still love them....how are you supposed to survive"-I explained as Kenzie just listened
"Do you miss him"-Kenzie asked as she just sat there and occasionally glanced behind her to where the boys were standing
"Yes"-I mumbled looking at my hands before looking back up at Kenzie "Well there about to announce the raffle ticket winner"-I said standing up and brushing my dress off for no specific reason
"Ok"-she said standing up as we walked out from under the booths tent and walking towards the small platform
"Come on"-Kenzie said as she grabbed my arm and dragged me over to where the boys were
"No-don't"-I said but it was to no use seeing as we were already there
"Hi"-Chad said awkwardly holding in a laugh
"Hey"-I said ignoring all of them and looking st the platform
"I swear one of y'all better win us trips to bora bora"-Kenzie said drifting her finger back and forth from me to her
"Yeah yeah"-Charles said waving her off as they both laughed
"Ok welcome back we now have the winners code for the Bora Bora trip"-Principal Evans said as she began to open an envelope "if I call out your number please come up and retrieve the tickets for you and four friends"-she added looking at the crowd once she opened the envelope "okay...389274"-she said looking down at the paper as everyone else was looking down at their raffle tickets
"No way!"-Aaron said with his mouth opened and looking down at his ticket "that's me"-he said showing everyone the ticket before walking up to get the tickets from the principal
"YEAHHH WERE GOING TO BORA"-Kenzie said high fiving me as we both smiled
"How do you know he's gonna bring y'all two"-Charles asked
"Because he has four extra ticket and one...two...three...four-yup we're going"-Kenzie said as she counted all of us
"Well were going to bora"-Aaron said laughing as he came back waving the tickets in the air "Can one of you hold onto then though...I don't want to lose them"-Aaron said handing them to me or Kenzie as Kenzie took them and put them in her purse.
