[Annas POV]
I was sitting in the back of my math class reading the book I picked up in my room on Saturday.
*buzz buzz*
I picked up my phone and noticed a series of text form Kenzie in the group chat
Group chat:
Kenzie: guess what I did
Charles: I don't feel like guessing
you bought goat and baked if Rodriguez
Kenzie: unfortunately no-not yet
I sighed us all up to help for the car wash
Aaron:you do realize the football players didn't have a choice right
Kenzie:no...well then I sighed me and Anna up
When?
Kenzie: the Thursday after bora turns out there's a lot of charity events for the sports and school activities and clubs
Chad: awesome
Joey: don't you think it's a little over board there's almost a charity event every day
Charles: that's true coach sent out a schedule
Aaron: ikr
Y'all are awesome and I love this talk but I have to get back to class

I wasn't mad at Kenzie I needed another distraction well I needed something to fill my blank schedule and it'll give me an excuse to see a shirtless joey...from a distance.
Another reason I'm not mad is cause I low key got used to her surprising me and doing stuff like this but she's just trying to help me out the best she can and I completely understand.

It's finally lunch and honestly I couldn't be happier my teachers are all acting like there on their periods so anything to get me away from them for twenty five to thirty minutes I'm in.
"Well well we'll"-I heard the most annoying voice say from behind me
"Sydney I thought they took out the trash yesterday"-I asked tilting my head
"Funny. Where your boy toy...did he find out you were such a prude and left"-Sydney asked stepping closer to me as she crossed her arms
The last thing I want right now is another conversation with the topic of Joey
"Huh"-she asked stepping closer to me again "thought so"-she said after a few moments of silence
"You know you should really be careful who your talking to"-the best possible voice said from behind me...but she can't be here I have to fight my own battles
"Kenzie go away"-I said still having a stare off with Sydney
"Anna everyone's bought to come out for lunch and-"she said cutting her self off with silence "we don't want to make a scene"-she said continuing her sentence
"Aww is little miss Anna camera shy"-Sydney asked with a fake pout
"Fucking bitch"-I said stepping closer to her before raising my hand

"WHY DIDNT YOU LET ME HIT HER"-I asked yelling at Joey
"Someone had to stop you"-Joey said calming as his arms were crossed
"You know you left but the one time your there for me so the wrong time"-I said before turning and walking away
"Anna?"-Joey said softly as I started to walk away I stoped I don't know why I just did and I hate myself for it
"What"-I mumbled quietly not turning to face him
"I'm sorry"
"Me too"-I said still not turning around fearing he'd see me with my tear up eyes so instead I walked away.
