"Can you stop poking me?" My best friend, Jasmine, kept poking me with her fork as we sat in the in-and-out burger place.

"Well you keep spacing out, I wanna know what's on your mind" She leans forward so I can fully see her.

I was sitting on the right, near the window and my head was resting on my hand,

Jasmine was across from me.

"I'm sorry.." I sit up, looked down and start play with my fingers,

"It's just.. every time I come here it just reminds me of him" Jasmine relaxes her hand on top on mine.

"It's gonna be okay, we can leave if you want"

"No it's okay"

I hear the bell ring meaning somebody came through the door,

I look up and see him, Austin Porter.

He had his arm around a pretty white girl with waist length hair,

"Y/n, what are you looking at?" Jasmine asked as she turns around.

"Girl don't worry about him and that rat" She turns back around,

"But she's so pretty..and look at me" I look back down.

I feel a smack on my face,

"Ow"

"Say that shit again and you gon die, plus yeah look at her..

She's trying to be like you and I've seen her like a year ago" I look back up at jasmine.

"What you mean" I lean back,

"She didn't look nothing like that, after you and Austin broke up she literally got all that done to have have the same body type as you,

Sure y'all have different skin colors but so..?"

I look over and see Austin looking at me, I looked away quick.

"It's um- it's getting late we SHOULD go" I gathered my bag and stuff together,

Jasmine nods and stands up.

We walk towards the door and I feel someone lightly tap my shoulder,

I turn around and just stare at him

"Hey y/n"

"U-um Hi Austin, I-I um have to go-"I was going to start walking to the door again.

"Y/n what happened, why you stop talking to me?"
He turns my head to look at his,

"Where's your girlfriend why she not here?" I looked around us

"She went to the bathroom, but why would you stop talking to me?"

"Reasons"

"Why? I thought we was inseparable"
