Pink dresses Barbie Dolls Football successes Dinosaurs
Sparkling crowns Teddy bears Laughing sounds Their life, was theirs
Then the little girl Felt something different She didn't want, dolls, dresses and curls But her parents were ignorant
She felt like She should have been a boy Wanted to play football, ride her bike But her parents thought she was just a tom-boy
She didn't want to be a girl She realised she was a boy Not in body But in mind She had to tell somebody But everyone seemed blind No one was kind To the little girl That was a boy
Years later she's finally a boy Transformation brought him joy He felt complete He felt right His future was, just as bright
Some still are not kind Many are still blind But now he, is gender assigned
