Rainfall
The sputtering splash on a small settlement
Wish we could stop the rain fall
That we could settle and stop the sentiments
But the rain keeps falling on and on
While the sun looks on
The sun shines down
But the rain keeps crashing on my back
The water washing with the gravel ground, turning it a broken brown
I fall in the mud
The beastly brown stains my shirt and shorts
The sun goes out
Life so short
I wake
The sun glares me in the face
Immediately in my place
I shield my sorrow eyes
And wait
The rain has stopped
Still, down to the surface of the strait
A new stance, i must adopt
Now that my woes have been washed away
I can focus on the positives
Now my struggles have been stabbed and shot
We must keep everything we've still got
But one day the rain will come
Again
Stronger, longer than before
But I will be safe behind my moral door
I will build defences
To every one of my senses
Come to my senses
Ensuring I am not left defenceless
Or strengthless
Brains are important, strength less
Moral strength is far more important
Some people let their demons hurt them
I give no consent
I stand to fight to the backing track of the base drum
That's right
Got to do it right
Take a right
I take a left
Until there's nothing left
People break the heart forth wall
I break em all
To ensure people are safe and sound
Make sure people rally round
Round the table
The round table
I am more than able
To help people in need
Something I need
Won't stop until I succeed
So this sun ain't going out
The rain ain't coming back
I'll enter the battle with a scream and shout
Filling my enemy's heads with doubt
How ironic
I'll give them what they gave me
Maybe then they'll see
That they don't need to hide
In order to
Stay strong. Stay alive.
