Isabelle sat next to her little brother, her eyes filled with tears. The Medics had moved Ariana's bed away from Max and closed the curtain around it, stating that they needed to do more tests on her. That thought alone made Isabelle scared, she didn't want to lose her Parabatai, nor did she want to lose her brother.

"They say that maybe you can hear me." Isabelle whispered, her hand clutching onto her brothers. "I want you to wake up, okay? Open your eyes and wake up, Max." Isabelle exhaled softly as a sob left her throat.

"Sorry to interrupt." Sebastian spoke up from the doorway, his eyes shifting over to the closed curtains that covered Ariana from his sight. "How come the curtains are closed?" He asked, walking further into the room.

"It's okay." Isabelle responded with a small smile "They wanted to do more tests on her, she doesn't look too good at the moment."

"Oh." Sebastian nodded his head in understanding before he walked to stand beside Max's bed. "How's the little fighter doing?" He asked warmly. "Is there any progress?"

"I'm still waiting to hear back from Brother Enoch." Isabelle responded "But Max already defined the odds in surviving Jonathan's attack, Ariana too." She smiled slightly "If anyone can make it, he can."

One of the Medics pulled the curtain open, letting Ariana be seen once again. "We've taken the blood bag away from her, She's now just on a regular drip." The woman said to Isabelle who nodded her head, the woman smiled before walking away from them.

"Look, Izzy, you need to take care of yourself as well." Sebastian spoke up "You should take a break."

"Uh, thanks, but I-I can't leave them." Isabelle shook her head gently.

"Look, just a few more minutes will do you a world of good." Sebastian smiled sweetly at her "And I'll watch them while you're gone."

Isabelle smiled and looked down at her brother "I could use a break." She said before looking up at Sebastian "Thank you." Sebastian smiled before the door opened, Robert and Maryse ran inside of the room. "Oh, Max." Maryse frowned as she quickly walked to stand by Max's side.

"Mom, dad." Isabelle said as she stood up and hugged them.

"Your father and I spoke with Brother Enoch." Maryse spoke up as she ran her fingers through her sons hair. "He says Warlock magic can't heal Max or Ariana." She said, her eyes moving to look at the lifeless brunette laying in the bed a few feet away, watching as her chest slowly raised and fell with every breath.
