I was sitting in my office working out the final details of Alpha's newest plan. We'd gone with the club idea for our packs mixer, now we just had to arrange everything. We'd decided that we would do a "Werewolf Wednesday" and then just tell all the humans that Wednesday was closed for special events. Now all I had to do was work out the finer details and let all the alphas know about our plan.
I'd been in my office for maybe half an hour when a familiar scent flew in through my open window.
What are they doing here?
Don't know.
I quickly walked down the stairs, a smile on my face that quickly fell when I walked into the kitchen. The only people in the kitchen were Abbie and Zander. No Sarah.
"I'm not here for you," Abbie sighed, looking at Zander sadly. "I'm here for Victor."
"What," Zander and I said at the same time.
Abbie hesitated, looking between Zander and I for a second before continuing. "Sarah is hanging out with Hayden so I figured now would be a good time to take Victor shopping. Since he owes Sarah a new dress and everything."
"Well why can't I go with?"
"Because," Abbie sighed, "this is going to be a bonding time between Victor and I since we're going to be stuck with each other for the rest of our lives." Zander's face fell slightly when she shot him down, but you could tell he was trying to keep a straight face. "Don't worry, I'm sure Sarah will do the same thing with you. If we're as alike as I think we are it will be sometime in the near future."
Not going to happen.
"Just trust me," Abbie whispered, pecking Zander on the lips before looking over at me. "Well go grab your purse and heels. I ain't gonna wait all day."
Purse? Heels? What does she think we are? A cross dresser?
Well.... She already thinks we're a stripper. Maybe she doesn't think there's much of a difference.
Damn girl.
Damn girl that you better get along with since she's our mate's best friend.
Abbie walked out of the kitchen and headed for the front door, Zander following behind her quickly. When I got to the front door I saw Abbie looking ahead with determination, walking towards my truck when she saw that I'd followed them.
"If she gets hurt I'm blaming you," Zander said roughly, a edge in his voice that I'd never heard before. He sent me a quick warning glare before returning his eyes to Abbie.
What does he think we're going to do? Murder her and throw her in a ditch?
"Don't worry man," I said, patting his back as I walked out the door, "I'll be sure to keep her away from any biker bars." I got in my truck and pulled out of the drive way, heading towards the closest mall. "There any stores you had in mind?"
"Just the usual clothing stores," Abbie said as she started flipping through the stations on the radio. "Ross, Kohl's, Victoria's Secret, Jcpennies, Dillard's.."
"Wait, Victoria's Secret," I asked, looking at her shocked.
That's going to be fun!!!
"Oh I love this song," Abbie said quickly, sending me a smirk as she started singing along to the song.
What have you gotten us into this time?
