Abbie opened the door to the house she shared with Sarah, and dashed inside.  Probably going to give the owner of the car sitting out front a hug.

Why is Zander here?

Don't know.

I walked inside, and set the bags from the mall on the coffee table.

Glancing at my little fairy I saw that she was holding her finger over her lips in a shushing manner, and looking pointedly toward her room.

Must be nap time.

"He just went down," she whispered when she saw that she had my attention, "he was being kind of stubborn since we had someone over."

I nodded my head in understanding before looking between her, and Zander in a questioning manner.

She just shrugged, "Bonding time."

That probably just means Zander was getting a full discourse on what to do, and what not to do with his mate too.  There was also probably some mention of what she would do to him if she ever found Abbie crying.

My little fairy stood up, and motioned for us to follow her into the kitchen, so we could talk without waking her sleeping child.

That's still such a strange sentence.  Her sleeping child.

I know, but there's nothing that we can do about it.

Maybe she'll let us adopt him, and call him ours......  Probably not anytime soon, but maybe in the future sometime.

Maybe.....

"Victoria's Secret?" Sarah questioned when we were all sitting around the table, "I thought you were going to replace my dress, not getting toys for Zander to enjoy later."

He better not ever be the one who enjoys those.

"We did replace your dress.  We just so happened to get your twin birthday present too."

"Oh, so you were getting toys for Galán.  I'm sure he's going to be very disappointed when he doesn't get to see them again until our birthday.  Can I see the dress now?  I need to know if I'm ever going to let him go shopping for me again."

"You probably shouldn't unless he has someone with him.  You should have seen some of the stuff he chose."

Sarah scrunched up her nose, "Does that mean the only input he had in the matter was the cash?"

"No, no.  I taught him a few things.  Hopefully he learned something."

"That's good.  I was teaching Zander all about your underwear thing.  He now knows that he can not just get the most lacy thing on the shelf because that isn't comfortable, and you won't wear it," my little fairy said nodding her head, "Oh, and that you like purple."

There was a slight blush on Abbie's cheeks as she looked at my mate in embarrassment.

"Hey," Sarah said holding her hands up, "at least I didn't let him see your collection.  You on the other hand decided to take him to help with my collection.  Poor guy," she looked at me with pity, "If you need the shower it's just down the hall.  I'm sure you remember where the bathroom is from the last time you slept over."

How can she be so open about that subject considering what happened to her?

I don't know, and I'm not going to ask.
