Chapter 21- Should I do it anyway? I'm gonna say yes.

A loud scream of excitement sounded through the house, startling me out of my work.

What do you think is going on?

Don't know, and don't care.  It was high pitched, and obviously not someone screaming in terror.  I don't want to get into any girl drama.

I guess not.

Shaking my head I tried to get back to work.

That didn't really work though, because a few seconds later I could hear a door slamming in the direction of the scream, and someone started to run down the stairs yelling my name repeatedly.

Looks like we will be dragged into it anyway.  I wonder what it's about.

It's Alpha's sister.  It could be anything.

I stood up, and walked around to the front of my desk.  Waiting patiently for Daniella to get to my office, knowing that I wasn't going to be able to do anything until she explained whatever got her excited.

She threw open the door, and started to wave a magazine for some clothing store in front of my face, "She made it!  She's on the front cover!  Can you believe it?!  I knew she would get it eventually, after all she is a natural......"

"Danny," I said putting my hands on her shoulders to try, and stop the jumping, "calm down.  What are you talking about?"

"Sarah!  She made the cover!"

When she took in my blank face she let her jaw drop just a little, "You mean you don't know?"

I shook my head slowly with a confused look on my face.

Her disbelief showed in her eyes, before a smile slipped onto her face, "Then it looks like I get to be the one to tell you that you're dating a model."

"What?"

She shoved the magazine in my face again, and let the grin on her face get wider.

As I looked at it I could feel the shock start to settle on my face.  There, smiling from the front cover, was a picture of my little fairy in a short dress, and heels that looked like they could kill a werewolf.  It was slightly hard to tell that it was her due to the makeup that coated her face, but mischievous glint in her dark brown eyes was unmistakable.

Of course she's a model.  Why wouldn't she chose to do something like that?

"When do you see her next?  I want to congratulate her."

"I'm going to get her in a few minutes," I mumbled unable to rip my eyes from the image in front of me.

"Get her from what?  Can I come?"

"No."

"But....."

"No," I repeated, cutting off what ever she was going to say before pushing around her so I could walk out the door.

I think we're a little early.

Who cares.  If being early is all I have to pay for getting out of the same room as Danny I'll take it.

Okay... So, what are we going to say?

Was I supposed to be thinking of something to say to her?  It's just a job.  Granted she didn't tell me about it, but it's not really something big.
