A FEW DAYS LATER Luna finds herself staring at a light, blue jeep at the edge of the sidewalk outside of the school. The feeling of something being ripped away from her had stuck with her and she'd been searching for it for the past few days.
The night it happened, Luna was talking to Melissa McCall to get a sleeping aid. Melissa was all too delighted to help with Luna's sleeping problem. She said one of Scott's friends had had the same problem before.
"The only thing is I'd feel better if you took the sleeping aid and stayed the night here," Melissa said. "Just so I can keep an eye on you."
Luna didn't have a problem with that. She was too tired that she could fall asleep anywhere.
"Now, what is the problem? Can't fall asleep? Can't stay asleep?" Melissa asked as she lead Luna to a hospital room.
Luna replied, "Can't stay asleep."
"Too much on your mind?" Melissa glanced back at her with a smile.
Luna returned it.
"No. Just been having a lot of bad dreams." Melissa opened a door and motioned Luna inside with a sympathetic expression. Luna stepped inside and went straight to the bed to sit. Melissa left her alone for a few minutes before she returned with a shot.
"Okay, so, this will keep you from entering an REM sleep which is where most of your dreams occur because that is where your brain is most active." Melissa had Luna lay back on the bed and helped her cover up. As she entering the syringe into her body, Melissa said, "This should help you get a good night's sleep."
But it didn't. Luna woke up an hour later, screaming. Melissa had been walking by when she did and rushed in to comfort her. Once Melissa wrapped her arms around her, Luna gripped the arm wrapped around her frontside and cried. The nurse brushed her fingers through Luna's hair and hushed her to calm her down.
Now, Luna is studying a Jeep she knows she knows who drives it, but cannot for the life of her figure it out.
"I won't, I won't!" Lydia's voice brings Luna out of her stupor. She looks over just in time for Malia to grab Lydia and pull her out of the way of a car.
"Lydia, look out!" Malia shouts. Luna rushes over to the two girls. "Are you okay? Hey, Luna."
Luna places her hand on Lydia's shoulder and nods her head in acknowledgement to Malia.
Lydia sighs, "I'm fine."
Malia nods. "What were you doing?"
"Yeah, Lydia, you could've gotten hurt," Luna scolds.
Lydia glances between the girls before answering, "Trying to remember."

Later that night, Scott McCall found himself in the middle of the woods. He'd talked to Deaton earlier that night about a piece of tinted blue glass he had. He told him he found it in the Sheriff's Impound Lot, but he couldn't remember why he was there. There was a lot of missing holes in his memory. Deaton advised him that his subconscious was trying to tell him what was missing and to figure out what would be as simple as falling asleep.
So, that's what Scott did. The next time he woke up, he found himself in the middle of the woods. He knew this had to be important to figuring out what was missing. A little later, after making his way back home and riding his motorbike back, Scott texted Lydia, Malia, and Luna to meet him at the entrance of the Beacon Hills Reserve.
