Silly Nonsense

A/N Some goofy thoughts I had about Imogen getting pants and Unai learning to read and write from Alex's lessons. Not really canon or anything, just for a giggle. The real update is almost done.

Pants! Glory be at last I get to wear pants. Alex had bought everyone a few days worth of clothes when he went to the market. He got me pants! He is officially my bestie for life. I'm strutting around in my pants showing off in the courtyard.

"Enjoy it while you can, next week we will do another growth pill," Lenix tells me.

Strutting intensifies!

Lenix is doubled over laughing at my antics but who cares I have pants.

As I cross the courtyard I hear Ander stop Alex, "better wait to use the facilities, looks like Imogen has a mighty need to go."

I stumble mid-strut. Lenix is rolling he's laughing so hard.

"It's not like that, I'm excited to have pants," I explain to the guys.

The guys giggle, "oh we understand, excited." Ander wiggles his eyebrows.

Fran pops out and says suggestively "Oh my!"

Everyone is laughing, even Unai snorts.

"I hate you guys!" I yell as I storm away to my room.

I'm sitting alone pouting staring at my pants, at least you'll be my friend, right pants.

Unai wanted to put Alex's lessons to good use.~~~

I always wanted to communicate with more than just my contractor. Being able to write is exactly what I need.

I could even write a book about my experiences and adventures. I'll be the hero of course. Imogen my sidekick. Lenix could be a butler or something. The other guys... hmm cannon fodder? Yeah, that'll do.

Reality ruined my happy dream. 

I tried hard to use my paws or mouth to hold the writing tool. It didn't work no matter what. I could only make indistinct scribbles.

[I can't write!] I howl out my frustration.

"What's wrong Unai?" Imogen asks.

I look at Imogen's hands then to my own paws. [You wouldn't understand!] I run off to sulk in the bedroom.

"Is it the rebellious stage?" Imogen is perplexed.

A/N I'm thinking of changing the cover. The current one is so dramatic and other than a few chapters, I feel this story is mostly cute. These are the two I am considering if anyone has a preference. Or let me know if you think I shouldn't change the cover at all.  I'd appreciate the input. Thanks!

I like the butterflies in this. They could represent the butterfly effect Imogen going back in time has on the fates of those around him.

In this other picture, I like the simplicity of Lenix's larger hand reaching for Imogen's. It seems simple and sweet.
