Neil: so since when you were in abroad?
Avni: for 10 years.
she said like looking outside the window.. as Neil sits on the chair opposite to her.
Neil: how it feels to come back India?
Avni: Home! It feels home! She said turning to see towards him.
Neil: hmm.. so you live here with???
Avni: Neela maa..
Neil: but I thought.. uncle and aunty both.. I mean in that accident... he fumbled saying
Avni: yes.. they are no more.. Neela maa is not my maa, she is my Maasi!
Neil: ohh..
Avni looked into his eyes.. the area they were sitting did not had much light.. just moonlight from the large window there!
Avni: so how was the life after your parents?
Neil: struggled! I had bebe though to always handle me.. but as I grew all the responsibilities came to me.. destiny is
He was cut in between the sentence by Avni
Avni: so cruel.. right??
He nodded.
Neil: friends?
Avni: I don't have much.
Neil: I mean.. so friends??? He forwarded his hands for a handshake
Avni: anjaano se itni baatein main krti bhi nhi.. toh dost toh hum hain hi! She smiled and held his hand for handshake.
Neil: well I like your attitude!!
He smirked
Avni: you will soon love me! She said and looking outside the window.
Neil was again left spellbounded.
Avni: I'll just be back till then you calm down yourself. She said and left towards washroom. It was going to be her dose time and she doesn't want him to see her in a bad situation!
After 20-25 min she came back to him.
Neil: you back!
Avni: yeah...
She tried not to let him see to her eyes now.. he might doubt her condition.
Whereas Neil was confused seeing her a little.. her body language was a little different.. she was not looking towards him.. but he shrugged it off thinking that he was just overthinking.
Neil: so do you have any bf??
Avni was silent.. she remembered something.. somebody!!! She don't want to remember it anymore. But she tried to handle herself.
Avni: No.. I didn't thought you will be so quick! She winked.
Neil smirked.
Avni: I should leave now.. it's already late!
Neil: ohhh haan.. should I drop you??
Avni: Neil.. I was in New York for 10 years alone.. I know how to manage myself.!! Don't interfere much!
She said in rage but mentally face palmed herself for being rude so early.. all blame to her unbalanced state right now..
Neil was seeing in shocked state.
Avni: umm.. I mean I will go... don't you worry!
Neil: ohhkkk.. Bye then take care!
He said side hugging her.
Avni: bye!
She started moving but stopped in her track and came few steps back...
Avni: Avni Mehta will meet you tomorrow in the morning at office sharp at 10am and....
Neil: and??? He asked.
Avni: and Avni will meet you tomorrow in the evening at sky lounge cafe sharp at 6pm, bill on me! She winked before she left.
Neil ruffled his hair and closed his eyes in excitement.
Neil: uff!! Avniiiii!!!
