from now on i'll be using "I" instead of "You".

It's been five days since Jay and Ezra arrived. Two days later, Toby, John, Jaren, and Eric (swagger) also arrived. I was not aware that everyone was going to be coming to New Zealand, but I didn't mind - it'd be nice to talk to them in person, especially since I hadn't met Ezra or Eric in real life.

I was currently at Cameron's house. Everyone was there having a good time and talking - I was upstairs, still sick. The soup Cam made me was the only thing keeping me going.

I was in bed, watching (fav t.v. show) and eating the last of the soup in Cameron's guest bedroom. Soup was never my favorite thing, but it actually helps me feel better.

As the show came to an end, I turned the T.V. off and walked out onto the porch, despite how dizzy I felt as I stood up.

The sun was beginning to set; the sky was full of different colors: pink, orange, blue, red, and yellow. I always admired sunsets.

Suddenly, I heard glass break from below me. I looked over the edge to see Mason and Jay laughing their heads off, with a broken beer bottle on the ground. Oh, they were really drunk.

I promised myself I would never get drunk again, so it was probably for the best that I wasn't downstairs with them.

I turn around at the sound of the door opening. It was Cameron.

"Hey, (Y//N)," he greeted, with a smile, as he walked in. "How are you feeling?"

"A little better," I replied. He was now next to me on the porch, and he stared at the sky just as I was a minute ago. I could tell he wasn't drunk.

"Why aren't you downstairs with them?" I questioned.

"Ah, well, I just wanted to check in on you. Plus, they were getting a little crazy and I wanted no part of it." He laughed.

I smiled at him. "Oh. Makes sense."

Turning back to the sky, I noticed the sun had fully set. It was now dark, and the stars in the sky shined brighter than usual.

"Do you feel up to coming downstairs?" Cam asked, breaking a moment of silence.

"Sure, why not. But don't let me get drunk."

"Alright," he chuckled.

We both walked down the staircase. No one was in the living room, but I heard voices from outside.

Walking outside, I heard Toby scream, "(Y//N)!"

Everyone turned to me, and I was honestly a little embarrassed, but didn't show it. "Hi."

It reeked of alcohol. No doubt, they were all drunk.

Except Ezra and Jaren - they actually looked sober.

So for the next three hours, you sat outside, talking to all of my drunk friends, until most of them just passed out.

Everyone had soon been either carried inside or gradually made their way in.  I was sharing the guest room with Jaren.

Even though Cameron was my best friend, Jaren and I were close, too.  He was like my gay best friend, except not gay.  Well, maybe a little gay for John.

He and I were sitting on the bed, playing Cards Against Humanity while everyone else in the house was asleep.  I texted Ezra and Cameron if they wanted to play since they were the only other sober people, but they said they were too tired.

We wrapped up the game and decided to just talk.  Jaren had always been the one I talk to about crushes or guy problems.  He's seriously like a gay best friend.

"So," he began.  "we haven't talked much for awhile.  Any guys you have your eye on?" Jesus, he sounded like my dad.

I looked down at my knees and smiled a little.  I rubbed the back of my head.  "Um... I don't know.  I feel like it'll be weird if I tell you."

"Unless it's me, I won't think it's weird."

I looked up at him.  "Mason."

Right before he was about to speak, you quickly added, "I mean- I don't know- I don't think he cares about me like that- he-" I stumbled.

Jaren put his hand on my shoulder while laughing.  "Calm down.  I get it.  I've seen the way he looks at you, though.  I think there's something there." He winked.

I cupped my hands around my face in embarrassment.  I felt arms around me.  Jaren was hugging me.  Once he let go, he asked, "Has anything happened between you two?"

After debating whether or not to tell him, I explained the night I got drunk and what we did.

"He- he said it didn't mean anything."

"Sometimes guys say that to hide their feelings.  I bet it means something to him."

I smiled.  "Ok.  Thanks, Jaren."

We hugged again.  "No problem," he said while hugging.

He fell asleep while I lie awake.  I couldn't sleep, knowing that Mason might have feelings for me.
