Chapter 9 - Not My Concern

Jennie POV

It's already half past 8 p.m and I'm still here staring blankily at my laptop screen. Grabbing on my head, I let out a small scream.

"Arghhhhhhh I don't understand a thing!"

I've been typing since 2 hours ago but I knew there's something wrong with my report. Something feels off but what is it? I haven't finished even one and literally I got 2 more to do tonight. I did look on the example inside the pendrive Camera gives me but I can't follow it. The format is unfamiliar, plus I didn't know on how and what's important details to be put in.

"Maybe I should arranged this sentences again. It's looks weird." I mumbled to myself while tapping on the keyboard. Embracing my will, I choose to keep going. As long as this stupid report settled, no matter how bad it is. Deleting the sentences and typing again. But,

"I think it should be like this....but...aish!"

Ruffling my hair into mess, I scolded myself for being such an idiot. Going out on shopping with Nayeon and Irene after lunch even knowing there's work to do. I really thought the due date is the day after tomorrow. Camera did told me but I think I didn't pay attention to her at that time. Glad she's telling me about it or I'm just gonna ignore and do it tomorrow. This is such a mess Jennie. Aishh.

I glanced on my wrist, looking at the watch. Half past 8 o'clock already. At this rate what time I could go back home? 3 reports to do and not a single one done yet.

"Ahh I feel like wanna cry", I bring my hands covering my face. This is so hard and I feel like crying out loud here.

"I miss Mr.Teddy~"

"I miss my bed~"

"I want to have shower so bad now~"

"I'm so hungry~"

I let out a heavy sighed and slumped my back on the seat while looking at the ceiling. It's a lot quite here on night as there's not many staffs as during day. Only a few staying after working hours ended to settled works, preparing for tomorrow or for the sake of overtime. I know there's a few more people on the outside so I wouldn't feel so lonely. But what if I'll ended up being the last one here? Alone? Those thought send shivers down my spine. Alone in this level all by myself? No!

Quickly I fixed my position on the chair, getting ready to going back to work. I clasped my hands together.

"Let's do this!"

Almost 9.30 p.m and I'm on my second report. Quite proud of myself able to settle the first one despite knowing the report is a total trash. I don't care as long as I'm able to finish it.

My head feels a bit dizzy as I keep staring on the screen for a few hours ago. I could feel my body shaking a bit as I didn't have my dinner yet.

Grukkkk~

My stomach growling like how many times that I'd lost count already.

"Hang in there ok." I mumbled patting my stomach, hoping it would calm down a bit while I'm finishing my work.

Grukkkk~

It growls again and I stopped typing. Slumping my back on the seat relieving my almost cramp neck, I could feel tiredness on my entire body. I shut my eyes tight.

"Ahh~ I really want to eat delicious food and have a shower now~"

Now I'm starting to feel sleepy. Rubbing my eyes, my sight landed on the window beside the door. I noticed there's only 2 table lights on the outside that is still on. I could see the glimpse of it through the roll-up curtain since the window is facing the department. Thats mean there's only 3 person left including me?
